Two sides in need of a win meet in League Two this weekend as Tranmere Rovers face Doncaster Rovers.
Tranmere Rovers currently sit 21st in League Two with three wins, one draw and nine losses from thirteen games so far this season.
Tranmere have had a pretty poor opening two months or so to the League Two season as they find themselves level on points with Forest Green Rovers in the relegation zone.
Their form in the league has not been too bad of late, however, as they enter this game having won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five games.
Most recently Tranmere fell to a 2-0 loss away at Crewe Alexandra, a result they can be forgiven for given Crewe are mixing it up at the top of the table.
Their form at home is also very promising as the Merseyside club enter this game having taken seven points from their last three games on their own patch.
After an abysmal start to the season things slowly but surely seem to be improving for Tranmere, and while they're still well short of what many expected them to be a win here would mark a real turnaround for them following the first few games.
Doncaster Rovers currently sit 19th in League Two with four wins, two draws and seven losses from thirteen games so far this season.
Like their opponents, Donny have been underwhelming this season and they come into this game in a fairly precarious position in the table.
Despite that, though, their form has not been all that bad of late as they enter this game having won three and lost two of their last five games in the league.
Their most recent outing saw them run out convincing 4-1 winners again Sutton United in a dominant performance with goals from Joe Ironside (X2), Zain Westbrooke and Modou Fall enough to seal the points.
There has, however, been quite a discrepancy between their form away from home and their form at home, with their showings on the road much less convincing as they come into this game having lost four of their last five games on the road.
That does not bode well for this game given they're facing a side who've been good on their own patch of late so at face value it seems this matchup favours the club from Merseyside.
For our Tranmere vs. Doncaster prediction, we're going for a 2-1 win for the home side.
