Two North West sides meet in League Two this weekend as Tranmere Rovers face Salford City.
Tranmere Rovers currently sit 17th in League Two with one win and two losses from their first three games of the season.
The Merseyside club started with a disappointing 1-2 loss to Barrow on the opening day before falling to another loss to MK Dons by one goal to nil.
However, Tranmere notched their first win of the season on Tuesday nigh as they surged too a thumping 3-0 win over Harrogate Town.
Tranmere were ruthless in their performance with goals from Luke Norris, Sam Taylor and Kieron Morris sealing all three points for the home side.
All in all it's been a mixed start for Ian Dawes' side but they've shown enough in the early weeks of the campaign to suggest they have something to build from, especially when you consider they were unlucky to lose their first game of the season.
Tranmere are finally coming into a game off the back of a win so they'll be desperate to capitalise on the atmosphere in the dressing room that will no doubt be excellent following the win in midweek.
This is a more than winnable game for Tranmere and one they should look to take all three points from.
Salford City currently sit 12th in League Two with one win, one draw and one loss from their first three games of the season.
Salford kicked off with a 2-0 win away at Forest Green on the opening day of the campaign before Crawley Town held them to a 1-1 draw in their second game.
In midweek Salford fell to their first loss of the season as Grimsby Town condemned the Neil Wood's side to a 2-0 loss away from home.
Salford fell one goal behind after 20 minutes before Ossama Ashley was sent off form Salford after just forty-nine minutes before Grimsby doubled their lead sixteen minutes later, effectively ending the game.
Salford's start to the season has been fairly unconvincing on the whole and those who backed them for promotion may be starting to revise their predictions.
A win here would be a big one for Salford and would put them right on track to fully kickstart their season.
