Wrexham are looking build up a head of steam in League Two as they face Doncaster Rovers this weekend.
Wrexham currently sit 13th with two wins, three draws and one loss from their first six games of the League Two season.
The Welsh side have started the season in an acceptable but somewhat underwhelming manner given they were tipped by many to seal a second successive promotion this time around.
After registering consecutive draws against Swindon Town and Barrow in the league Wrexham finally got back in the win column last weekend as they beat Tranmere Rovers 1-0 away from home.
It was a game in which Wrexham will have felt good value for the three points having registered more than double the overall shots to Tranmere and more than double the number of shots on target, with an Aaron Hayden goal after 56 minutes enough to seal the lion's share of the points for the away side.
Wrexham have pretty much been as effective at home as they have been away, but their only loss in the league did come on their own turf on the opening day so they'll be hoping to give their fans something else to cheer about here.
Summer signing James McClean finally made his debut for the Welsh side in the draw at Tranmere and they'll be hoping the singing of the experienced Irishman can help propel them towards a promotion push this season.
They're coming into this game in good shape and are facing a side woefully out of form so they should expect themselves to take three points from this one.
Doncaster Rovers currently sit rock bottom of League Two with two draws and four defeats from their opening six games of the league season.
The Yorkshire side have endured a miserable start to the campaign as they find themselves rooted to the foot of the table having struggled immensely in the opening weeks of the season.
With twelve goals conceded and just four goals scored, Doncaster have by far the worst goal difference in the league and given how much much they're struggling at both ends it's going to be hard for them to pull themselves out of this rut.
They're coming into this game off the back of a 0-0 draw at home against Swindon Town which while not a mightily impressive result it still represents a significant improvement on the three-match losing streak that preceded it.
It's tough to see Doncaster turning their season around here but if they can put up a positive performance it can give them confidence going into the next few games.
For our Wrexham vs. Doncaster prediction, we're going for a 2-0 win for the home side.
