Two of Ligue 1's already-relegated sides will meet in the second to last game of the season with Angers set to play out their final league game in the top flight of France when they welcome Troyes to the Raymond Kopa Stadium.
It's been a terrible season for both Angers and Troyes this season with both sides heading into this game having been relegated for a number of weeks already in Ligue 1.
Angers, however, are set to finish as the worst side across Europe's top five leagues this season with just three wins on the board, 27 losses and a tally of just 15 points fro, 36 games - only Sampdoria in Serie A and Elche in La Liga come close to this terrible record.
Angers drew 2-2 with Reims in the last outing with Marseille beating them 3-1 before that. In fact, it's been seven weeks since their last win when they stunned Lille at the start of April. The club have since let in 13 goals too.
Angers are still also behind Troyes by eight points and it now means the club are heading into this game knowing that they are guaranteed to finish in last place with just six points to play for and an eight-point gap on Ajaccio in 19th.
As for Troyes, they have been relegated for three weeks now with them sitting behind Auxerre in 16th by 11 points in the safe spots of Ligue 1. Troyes are also coming into this one with just one more win than Angers with four, as the club have drawn 11 times and lost the other 21 games. Troyes have also let in just one less goal than that of Angers' tally of 79, but they have still managed to score the most goals for those sitting in the bottom four with 43 - only Strasbourg have netted more in the bottom six than them.
In reality, it's a game that could go either way given the lack of form and how both are already relegated. Angers fans will see this as a great chance to now get just their fourth Ligue 1 win of the season, however.
