Lorient and Strasbourg are set to clash in a battle in the final Ligue 1 game of the season with there being very little to play for with the two in the final outing of the campaign with Strasbourg safe from relegation.
Strasbourg have put together a healthy run of form in the past few months that has seen them move out of the relegation zone and now sit six points above Nantes in the bottom three.
There is also no chance that Strasbourg can move anywhere in the table this season with the club down in 15th and four points behind Brest in 14th and five ahead of Auxerre in 16th.
As for Lorient, they are still battling to finish in the top 10 in Ligue 1 this season with the club coming into this one winless in three since beating Lorient 2-1 at the start of May. They've since drawn 1-1 with Montpellier, lost 3-1 to Lens and lost 2-0 toi Clermont Foot.
They are sitting one point behind Nice in ninth and only one ahead if Reims just behind them in 11th, so Lorient cannot afford to drop points here if they want to end the season in the top half of the table.
