We have a hugely intriguing tie in Ligue 1 this weekend as Lyon face Reims.
Lyon currently sit 7th in Ligue 1 with seventeen wins, eight draws and eleven losses from thirty-six games this season.
It's been a fairly underwhelming season for Lyon who are currently at risk of delivering a second successive season finishing outside of the top four.
European football is still in reach but they need other results to go their way in addition to winning two difficult games in order to finish in a European spot.
They enter this game in good form having won three of their last four matches, the most recent of which was a 3-1 win over Monaco courtesy of goals from Alexandre Lacazette, Maxence Caqueret and Rayan Cherki.
Their form at home has been strong of late too, with Lyon having lost only one of their last five games on home soil having won three of those.
If everything possible goes their way Lyon could finish as high as 5th but that feels unlikely, so they'll probably have to settle for another season without European football.
They'll want to finish the season as strong as possible though and this is a very winnable matchup for them.
Reims are currently 11th in Ligue 1 with twelve wins, fifteen draws and nine losses thirty-six games this season.
It's been a decent campaign for a Reims side that possess one of the most coveted young managers in Europe, Will Still, alongside one of the most promising young strikers in Folarin Balogun.
Their season could have been much better but they've drawn an excessive number of matches, the most in the league, so they'll hope they can build on that going into next season.
They're coming into this game fairly out of form, however, having won just one of their last seven matches.
Most recently, Reims were held to a 2-2 draw at home to an Angers side that have won just three games this season.
They've also lost their last three away games so there isn't much encouragement for them heading into this game.
Reims drew 1-1 with Lyon when the two sides met back in August but this feels like it will be a much tougher task for the away side.
Lyon should have too much for an out of form Reims side here and should win with relative comfort.
For our Lyon vs. Reims prediction, we're going for a 3-1 win for the home side.
