Charlotte vs. Seattle Sounders Prediction, Tips & Stats

Seattle Sounders are looking to keep pace at the top of MLS's Western Conference as they face Charlotte FC here.

Charlotte FC currently sit 9th in MLS's Easter Conference with six wins, three draws and eight losses from seventeen games.

Charlotte have had an up and down campaign in MLS so far this season and they'll be hoping to pick up their form as they look towards reaching the play-offs at the end of the campaign.

They enter this game drastically out of form having won one and lost four of their last five matches, the most recent of which was a 4-2 defeat away at Columbus Crew.

Their form at home, however, has been totally incomparable with Charlotte winning four of their last five games on home soil, something that will provide them with huge encouragement as they seek a sorely needed victory.

Charlotte are facing one of the better sides in MLS here but their strong home form will have them believing they take take points off any side in front of their own fans.

Seattle Sounders currently sit 2nd in MLS's Western Conference with eight wins, three draws and six losses from seventeen games this season.

Seattle have had an impressive campaign so far but like their opponents they've tailed off dramatically in recent weeks and they now enter this game in dire need of a result.

They enter this game having won one, drawn one and lost three of their last five matches, the most recent of which was a 0-0 draw at home to Portland Timbers.

Their form away from home has been equally poor of late too, with Seattle winning just one of their last five games on the road.

These two sides have met just once before with Seattle running out 2-1 winners back in May 2022, so they'll be looking to make it two on the bounce here.

Seattle are in danger of sliding down the Western Conference table if they don't improve dramatically but it's hard to see them taking three points here given their form.

Charlotte's strength on their own patch means they should avoid defeat here at the very least.

For our Charlotte vs. Seattle prediction, we're going for a 2-1 win for the home side.
