Colorado Rapids vs. FC Dallas Prediction, Tips & Stats

Two sides in need of a win meet in MLS this weekend as Colorado Rapids take on FC Dallas.

Colorado currently sit 14th in MLS's Western Conference with two wins, eight draws and ten losses from twenty games so far this season.

It's been an abysmal campaign for a Colorado side that are, in terms of points accumulated, officially the worst side in MLS as they're rooted to the foot of the table with their fans likely willing the season to end.

They're coming into this game in typically poor form having failed to win any of their last nine games in MLS, the most recent of which was a 2-0 loss away at St. Louis.

Their form at home is no better either, with Colorado failing to win a single game on home soil in MLS all season.

It's tough to see Colorado turning this around at this point and their fate is likely set in stone.

Colorado will almost certainly not be involved in the postseason and the decision makers at the club must carefully consider how they're going to improver prospects for next season.

FC Dallas currently sit 5th in MLS's Western Conference with eight wins, five draws and eight losses from twenty-one games this season.

Dallas have had a very solid campaign in the West so far and they'll be looking to maintain their form from here until the beginning of the Final Series so they can enter proceedings in the best form possible.

They're are coming into this game out of form, however, having lost three of their last four matches, the most recent of which was a 0-1 defeat to DC United on home soil.

The defeat to DC United was a concerning one as it was a game they would have fancied themselves to win, and now their poor form is looking more like it is in danger of becoming a sustained run rather than a minor blip.

Their form home doesn't offer up much encouragement either, with Dallas failing to win any of their last four games on the road while losing their last three on the bounce.

On top of that, Dallas have lost each of their last three visits to this ground so it's not a happy hunting ground for the side from Texas.

Dallas are much better as far as league standings are concerned but this one looks like a potential banana skin game for them.

For our Colorado vs. Dallas prediction, we're going for a 1-1 draw.
