Dallas are aiming to keep up their sensational form in recent weeks when they meet with Portland Timbers at Providence Park with the Hoops coming into this one having defeated the Western Conference leaders in the last game.
Jesus Ferreira was back amongst the goals in that 2-0 win over St. Louis City and it has now brought the club to within just two points of St. Louis at the top of the table. Dallas are now sitting fourth in the table with seven wins on the board, five losses and five draws too.
What's more, they've managed to score 21 times this season and only Los Angeles, Vancouver Whitecaps and St. Louis have netted more in the Western Conference so far.
The men from Texas have also defeated Austin and Vancouver in the past month and have well established themselves a side to watch out for in the playoffs so far this campaign.
As for Portland, they have been struggling once more this season and come into this game with four wins from 16 outngs and seven losses on the board too. The club have now let in 24 goals so far this campaign and only Real Salt Late, Colorado Rapids and LA Galaxy have let in more goals this season in the Western Conference.
