Bottom of the table Norwich City host high-flying Brighton & Hove Albion at Carrow Road with the Canaries looking to get their first league win of the season, which would be vital, as both Southampton and Leeds United play each other this weekend.
Daniel Farke’s side have just one point from seven league matches which they earned in a 0-0 draw at Burnley in their last match prior to the international break, having conceded 16 in their previous six, losing 3-0 to Liverpool as well as 5-0 to Manchester City and 2-1 to Leicester City in August, before been beaten three more times in the league by 1-0, 3-1 and 2-0 scorelines versus Arsenal, Watford and Everton.
Brighton currently sit in sixth place in the Premier League and Graham Potter’s side are unbeaten in their last four matches, drawing with both Arsenal and Crystal Palace in their last two matches 0-0 and 1-1 with Neal Maupay’s 95th-minute goal earning his side a point in their derby against the Eagles, as well as beating Brentford 1-0 and Leicester City 2-1 thanks to goals by Maupay and Danny Welbeck.
The last meeting between these two sides saw Leandro Trossard score in a 1-0 win at Carrow Road back In June 2020 in a closely fought contest.
Prediction: Norwich City 1 - 2 Brighton & Hove Albion 15/2
