Bournemouth are looking to maintain their excellent start to the Premier League season as they take on Fulham on home soil.
- Date: 03/10/2025
- Kick-off: 8:00pm
- Location: Dean Court, Bournemouth
The Cherries are currently 6th in the Premier League with 11 points from six games. Their recent record against Fulham is very strong, losing only one of the last five head-to-head meetings, winning three of those. Fulham, who currently sit 10th with eight points, are winless in their last five trips to Bournemouth.
Fulham have also had a tough time on the road in the early weeks of the Premier League season, drawing one and losing two of their three away games. Their most recent game was a 3-1 defeat away at a severely underperforming Aston Villa side, which does not bode well as far as this one is concerned. Bournemouth, on the other hand, have two wins and one draw from three league games on home soil this season.
Games involving these two teams do tend to be entertaining encounters, though, with five of the last six meetings seeing over 2.5 goals scored, while four of the last six clashes have seen both teams score.
Antoine Semenyo bagged his fourth league goal of the season in a 2-2 draw at Leeds last weekend, sealing a cracking start to the campaign for him on a personal level - especially so given he also has two assists to his name.
Alex Iwobi has one goal and two assists so far for the Cottagers, but no Fulham player has been particularly prolific in front of goal just yet. Raul Jimenez was withdrawn with an early injury at Villa Park on Sunday, suggesting striker Rodrigo Muniz will now be in line for a run of games. This is likely a big chance for the Brazilian to nail down a starting spot and show Marco Silva why he's the team's most trusted forward.
All in all, Bournemouth clearly look like the better team at present, and given their success rate against Fulham in recent seasons, they should come out on top here
