Arsenal are hoping to put further daylight between themselves and Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table as they take on Hull City this weekend.
Arsenal are currently top of the league table with eight wins and one draw from nine games. The Gunners have enjoyed a strong start to the campaign and are the odds-on favourites to retain their league crown.
Their form in the league is very good, with Mikel Arteta's side winning four and drawing one of their last five games. Their four wins have all been consecutive, coming against Leeds (2-1), Nottingham Forest (1-0), Everton (2-0) and Liverpool (1-0).
As expected, their defensive record has been excellent, conceding just five goals in nine games. They've now kept three clean sheets on the bounce in the league and will fancy themselves to keep another one here.
There has been a lot of excitement around the recent performances of Noni Madueke, who is stepping up in the absence of Bukayo Saka. Madueke scored a goal in a 2-1 win over Slavia Praha in midweek, which was the culmination of a string of promising showings.
Hull City, meanwhile, enter this game 11th in the league with 11 points from nine games. The Tigers have adjusted well to life in the Premier League and have been competitive throughout.
However, after winning their first two games, they're now winless in seven. They have drawn five of those though, highlighting their competitive nature.
Their last five games have seen them lose to Newcastle (2-1) and Fulham (1-0) while drawing with Everton (2-2), Brentford (1-1) and Ipswich (2-2).
Away from home, it's extremely difficult to see them getting a result against an Arsenal side that are watertight at the back. We are, then, backing the Gunners to run out comfortable winners here.
Arsenal 2-0 Hull
