Two teams that are lingering in the bottom half of the Premier League meet on Sunday, as Crystal Palace take on Leeds United at Selhurst Park.
The Eagles will be hoping to produce a better display than the one shown from midweek, where they were lacklustre in their UEFA Europa Conference League fixture against AEK Larnaca on Thursday. Crystal Palace were the better side on the stats, with 13 shots to two; however, that is expected given the level of quality between Palace and their Cypriot counterparts.
Oliver Glasner's side can take solace from the fact that his team's league form has picked up during recent weeks. Crystal Palace had previously gone nine league games without a win, and now head into this fixture against Leeds United with three wins in their last five matches in the Premier League, with wins against Brighton (0-1), Wolves (1-0) and Tottenham Hotspur (1-3).
As for Leeds United, the Peacocks have been drawn into the chasing pack when it comes to relegation, with three points separating Leeds United, Tottenham Hotspur, Nottingham Forest and West Ham United. Daniel Farke's side have had their issues away from home, winning only 7% of their away games this season in the Premier League. Leeds' only away victory this season was against Wolverhampton Wanderers back in September.
Whilst Crystal Palace haven't exactly been consistent this season, Leeds' away record is too difficult to ignore. Along with a 7% win rate on their travels, Daniel Farke's side has also conceded two goals per game away from home on average.
The BTTS market landed in the previous league meeting between the two sides, but this time we predict Crystal Palace to avenge the 4-1 loss at Elland Road earlier this season.
Crystal Palace 2-1 Leeds United
