Everton are looking to maintain their good form as they take on Newcastle United in the Premier League this weekend.
- Date: 29/11/2025
- Kick-off: 5:30pm
- Location: Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium, Liverpool
The Toffees come into this game 11th in the league table with 18 points from 12 games. David Moyes' men are enjoying a solid campaign, and they come into this game fresh off the back of a 1-0 win at Old Trafford having spent the majority of the game playing with ten men.
Their form now looks strong, with Everton taking seven points from their last three league games, and they're now looking to make it four games without defeat. They've been good on their own patch for a while now, too, losing just one of their last five home games.
Their recent record against Newcastle is also favourable, with the Toffees going unbeaten in the last four head-to-head meetings between the two sides, winning two and drawing two. They will, then, be confident of beating a Newcastle side that seem to struggle on the road.
Eddie Howe's men find themselves 14th in the table with 15 points from 12 games. Newcastle are far, far lower than they expected to be at this stage in the season, and pressure is slowly starting to mount on Howe, with some fans starting to question his decision-making.
They come into this game with three losses from their last five league games, but it's their away form that has been particularly worrying this season, with the Magpies winning only once on the road all season, with no away wins in the Premier League. They've also lost all of their last four away games on the bounce.
BTTS has occurred in all of their last four games on the road, while over 2.5 goals have also been scored in all of those, so we should see a decent spectacle on Saturday evening. Based on recent trends, though, the game might not play out in Newcastle's favour.
Everton 2-1 Newcastle
