Fulham vs Leicester Prediction, Tips & Stats

Leicester City will be looking to move further away from the relegation zone this weekend when the club meets with Fulham at Craven Cottage as the Cottagers merely look to finish in the top half of the table this season.

It's arguably the perfect game for Leicester in some ways, given how Fulham have very little to play for. They are still sitting in 10th ahead of this one, and their gap of five points on Crystal Palace in 11th will give them great confidence in finishing in the top 10 this campaign.

What's more, fans will simply just loving the idea that they are set to seal their first-ever finish above Chelsea in the Premier League if things carry on the way they are, as the Cottgares are six clear of them in 12th.

A spot in Europe is not mathematically over for Fulham, but with a 14-point gap on the Europa League and only four games left to play, it makes it a near-impossible task.

As for Leicester, they avoided defeat against Everton on Monday and subsequently remain outside of the relegation zone, but they missed their best chance yet to rocket further away from the bottom three. Caglar Soyuncu scored that day before Jamie Vardy got a rare goal this season to now keep the Foxes one clear of the drop zone.

Leicester have won in the past few games, however, after defeating Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-1 at the King Power. On the other hand, this is the club's only win since a stunning 4-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at the start of February

            Leicester team news

James Justin's terrible luck with injuries means he has missed most of this season once more and he is nearing a return but is unlikely to feature this campaign. Kelechi Iheanacho will be assessed ahead of the game and is unlikely to pass a late fitness test. Ricardo Pereira is nearing a return as well, and he could be fit to start in this one. Jonny Evans should be fit to play, but he will also face a late fitness test. Jannik Vestergaard won't play again this season and Ryan Bertrand is also facing a late fitness test, but he did play with the U21s recently for 65 minutes.

            Fulham team news

Andreas Pereira will be a huge miss for Fulham for the rest of the season and will leave a huge gap in midfield. Tim Ream is also out until the end of the season now after breaking his arm, and he will be a massive miss too. Layvin Kurzawa is also set to miss this game but he is close to returning after missing the past two months. Aleksandar Mitrovic has one more game to miss after his eight-game ban.
