Newcastle United are back in Premier League action a week on from their biggest-ever away victory that saw the Magpies destroy Sheffield United with Burnley up next for them at St. James' Park.
Eight different goalscorers got in on the act for Newcastle in their 8-0 battering over Sheffield United, as they managed to score a goal at least once every 14 minutes. It was the club's heaviest away victory, and they now head into this game having also defeated Manchester City in the EFL Cup too.
Alexander Isak was the hero for Eddie Howe's men during the week, as he scored in the second half of the game to become the second team to knock City out of the EFL Cup at the third round under Pep Guardiola.
As for Burnley, they remain winless in the Premier League and are only above Sheffield United in the league table because of that 8-0 defeat to Newcastle.
