Tottenham Hotspur vs Everton Prediction

Tottenham are still searching for their first win of the campaign as they take on Everton in the Premier League this weekend.

Tottenham come into this game with just one point from their first three games. A 3-0 hammering at the hands of Brentford on the opening weekend was followed by a 0-2 loss at home to Newcastle.

Last weekend, Roberto De Zerbi's side drew 0-0 away at Nottingham Forest, a point they were arguably fortunate to get after Forest had a goal harshly ruled out for handball.

After the club have spent upwards of £400m, De Zerbi is rapidly finding himself under increasing pressure, especially after the club have recorded successive 17th place finishes.

Staggeringly, Spurs still only have four Premier League wins since December 2025 and home games are becoming increasingly tough for the players to navigate, with the crowd understandably hungry for good performances.

Everton, meanwhile, have five points from their opening three league games. The Toffees kicked off with a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace on the opening weekend, a result that preceded a 1-1 draw away at Bournemouth and a 2-2 draw at home to Man United.

Despite the farcical running of off-pitch matters at the club, fans will be pleased with how their players have represented the club in the opening weeks, with most players giving a very good account of themselves.

Youngsters Tyrique George and Harrison Armstrong have been particularly impressive, with George bagging his first league goal in an Everton shirt in a man of the match showing against Man United last weekend. The goal was long overdue from George's perspective after the England U21 international has delivered a string of very eye-catching showings.

Everton will feel as though Spurs are there for the taking and the form table is certainly in their favour, but their record at Tottenham is not strong enough for us to back them to take three points.

We do, however, think they'll avoid defeat and come away with a point.

Tottenham 1-1 Everton
