Feyenoord are looking to tighten their grip on top spot in Champions League Group E as they face Lazio this week.
Lazio currently sit 3rd in Group E with one win, one draw and one loss from their first three games of the campaign.
The Italian side kicked off with a 1-1 draw against Atlético Madrid followed by a 2-1 win away at Celtic before a 3-1 loss away in Feyenoord last time out.
The loss in Rotterdam last time out was a pretty comprehensive one and the Dutch side looked a notably superior unit so they'll be looking demonstrate clear improvements in this one in order to claw back some confidence to try and progress from this group.
They're entering this game in fairly decent form overall having won three of their last five games but having lost 1-0 to Bologna at the weekend they'll feel as though their momentum has been derailed somewhat.
The good news is that they've been strong when playing at home in recent outings as they come into this game unbeaten in their last five games on the road while winning their last three on the bounce.
They'll have to hope that home advantage works to their favour here because they'll need something to spur them on towards an improved performance as they face a very well put together side.
Feyenoord currently sit top of Champions League Group E with two wins and one loss from three games so far.
The Dutch side began with a comfortable 2-0 win over Celtic followed by a 3-2 loss away at Atlético Madrid before a 3-1 win over Lazio last time out.
It's been a very good start to proceedings on the whole for Feyenoord despite the loss in Spain and they'll feel as though they're very well placed to take one of the top two spots in this group.
They're coming into this game in very good form overall having won four of their last five games, the most recent of which was a 2-1 win away at RKC Waalwijk with goals from Quinten Timber and Bart Nieuwkoop enough to seal all three points.
The Dutch side have not been as strong as when they claimed the league title last time out so far as they currently sit seven points shy of PSV at the top of the table but they're still a very well functioning team that are excellently coached.
Given how comfortably they beat Lazio last time out they'll feel very confident of claiming what would be a very handy win here.
For our Lazio vs. Feyenoord prediction, we're going for a 1-1 draw.
