Real Sociedad continue their impressive Champions League campaign this week as they face Red Bull Salzburg.
Real Sociedad currently sit top of Group D with three wins and one draw from four games.
La Real have been an excellent addition to this year's competition having acclimatised to the standard almost immediately as they look like a side capable of mixing it with the best that Europe has to offer.
They're entering this game in very good form having won four of their last five games, the most recent of which was a 2-1 win over Sevilla.
A Sevilla own goal before an Umar Sadiq strike secured all three points for La Real in what was their third win on the bounce so they're coming into this one with plenty of momentum behind them.
Their form at home has been excellent too, with the Spanish side having lost only once on their own turf all season in a 0-1 defeat to Barcelona.
In what is only their third time competing in this competition since it was reformed in the early 1990s, Real Sociedad look more than comfortable at this level and will think they can make a deep run this year.
They do, though, need to secure top spot and given they only occupy it on goal difference currently they need to make sure they win this game to keep Internazionale at bay.
Red Bull Salzburg currently sit 3rd in Group D with one win and three losses from four games.
Salzburg have had a tough time in this group for the most part as they find themselves eliminated from the competition with two games still remaining.
Despite this, they still have Europa League football to play for and providing they can hold on to their current standing that is what they'll get. The Europa League is likely much more suited to their level and they'll really believe they can have a good crack at winning that competition so leaving the Champions League early likely won't be of great upset.
They're entering this game in solid form having won one, drawn one and lost three of their last five games, the most recent of which was a 3-2 win over Hartberg thanks to goals from Peter Ratkov, Oscar Gloukh and Nene Dorgeles.
Away from home they've been hit and miss having won two, drawn two and lost one so it's doubtful they have what it takes to win such a difficult fixture.
They're currently top of the Austrian Bundesliga but winning away at Real Sociedad is an unlikely result for any side not part of Europe's 'elite', so expect this one to end in a win for the home side.
For our Real Sociedad vs. RB Salzburg prediction, we're going for a 2-0 win for the home side.
