After failure in the Champions League and a rocket down the league table because of a points deduction, Juventus are in back in the Europa League after many years away from the competition with Nantes up next in the play-offs.
It's the first time the Europa League has introduced a play-offs system and they will be desperate to get through here in order to get back in the Champions League for next season. A break in the club's transfer policies with Serie A has forced a 15-point deduction in the league, forcing them down from second all the way into ninth. Their form has still been relatively positive since, but adding on the 15 points they lost right now would put them in second by two points.
Adrien Rabiot was the hero last time out in a 1-0 win over Fiorentina at home, and this came after beating Lazio in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals 1-0 and Salernitana 3-0 away from Turin. It still means an impressive 13 wins in 22 games for them and 34 goals conceded. In fact, only Napoli at the top of the table has conceded fewer goals with 15 compared to the Old Lady's 17.
As for Nantes, They beat Lorient last time out thanks to a winner from Ludovic Blas. It now puts them 10 points above the bottom four in Ligue 1, as they now begin to build up the table and closer to the top 10 with a current gap of five on 10th-placed Reims in France.
Juventus are priced at 1/3 here and it should be a fairly routine win for the Old Lady. Dusan Vlahovic is also priced at 3/1 to score first or last and 1/1 to net anytime. Adrien Rabiot scored the winner against Fiorentina last weekend and he is also 8/1 to score first or last and 3/1 anytime.
Angel Di Maria has been in and out of good form in. his debut season at the club, but he is 5/1 to score first or last and 7/4 to score anytime. Moise Kean and Federico Chiesa will start here, and they are 11/2 to score first or last and 15/8 to net anytime. Should there be an upset on the cards, Nantes to win 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 is the most likely at 10/1 and Nantes to win 3-0, 3-1 or 3-2 is 40/1.
