Belarus vs. Kosovo Prediction, Tips & Stats

Belarus take on Kosovo in EURO 2024 qualifying this on Monday with both sides hoping to register a first win one the board.

Belarus currently sit 6th in qualifying Group I with three losses from their first three games of the campaign.

Belarus kicked off their campaign with a 0-5 drubbing at the hands of Switzerland before falling to successive 2-1 losses against Romania and Israel.

It's been an abysmal start to matters for Belarus who will almost certainly fail to qualify for the tournament in Germany next summer as they even have fewer points on the board than Andorra in this group.

Their form coming into this game is very poor having now lost each of their last four consecutive matches.

Even on home soil things don't look much better with Belarus having drawn two and lost three of their last five games on home soil.

The chances of Belarus turning things around here are exceedingly slim so their fans will just have to hope their team can give a good account of themselves from heron out.

Kosovo currently sit 4th in Group I with three draws from three games in their campaign so far.

They kicked things off with a solid 1-1 draw away at Israel before being held to a very disappointing 0-0 draw with Andorra followed by a 0-0 draw with Romania last time out.

The good news for Kosovo is that they're proving difficult to beat, but having drawn their last two home matches they still face a tough task from here to qualify from this group given they're four points behind Romania in 2nd.

As a matter of fact, Kosovo are coming into this game having drawn their last five consecutive matches, something they're going to have to address if they want to seal a place in Germany next summer.

Their form away from home hasn't been great either, with Kosovo having won one, drawn two and lost two of their last five games on the road.

Kosovo have a solid level of talent and arguably have the second-best side on paper in this group, but they desperately need to develop some cohesion as a unit if they want to maximise that talent and qualify for their first major tournament as an independent nation.

This one is a must-win for Kosovo as they can't afford many more huge slip ups.

For our Belarus vs. Kosovo prediction, we're going for a 1-0 win for the away side.

          Belarus Team News

Yuri Kovalev is a major doubt after leaving the pitch with an injury against Israel.

Max Ebong will keep his place up top in an XI that is unlikely to see too many changes.

Evgeni Yablonski was only good enough for a place on the bench last time out but the expectation is that he'll start this time around.

          Kosovo Team News

Fidan Aliti will partner Amir Rrahmani at the heart of the defence after impressing last time out.

Edon Zhegrova could come in for Florent Muslija out wide.
