Belgium vs. Estonia Prediction, Tips & Stats

Belgium are looking to to propel themselves further towards qualification for EURO 2024 as they face Estonia on Tuesday night.

Belgium currently sit top of qualifying Group F with three wins and one draw from their first four games of the campaign.

Belgium kicked off their campaign with a 3-0 win in Sweden before being held to a 1-1 draw at home to Austria followed by consecutive wins over Estonia, 3-0, and Azerbaijan, 1-0.

The win over Azerbaijan was not a particularly convincing one and while it was three points on the board for Domenico Todesco's side it's something they'll need to improve on in front of their own fans here.

Belgium are in a transitional phase at present with the last vestiges of their golden generation overseeing the integration of a number of new prospects.

There's still a lot of talent in the Belgian squad but, on paper at least, they're notably weaker than they once were and while they may end up qualifying for this tournament with ease they won't be amongst the favourites for the trophy.

In terms of this game Belgium should win in a fairly straightforward manner but Todesco will be demanding a performance from his men following the subdued showing in Azerbaijan on Saturday.

Estonia currently sit 4th in qualifying Group F with one draw and three losses from their first four games of the campaign.

Estonia began with a 2-1 defeat in Austria before being held to a 1-1 draw in Azerbaijan followed by successive losses against Belgium, 0-3, and Sweden, 0-5.

Estonia faced Sweden this past weekend and were put to the sword in a comprehensive battering, a result that will mean they're coming into this game low on confidence.

Estonia weren't expected to threaten the top two places but they're at great risk of ending the campaign without a single win on the board, a fate that would represent a very disappointing qualifying campaign for them.

There's still time left but having been drawn in a tough group they're almost certainly going to be condemned to more losses, one of which will undoubtedly occur here.

For our Belgium vs. Estonia prediction, we're going for a 4-0 win for the home side.

            Belgium Team News

Both Thibaut Courtois and Kevin De Bruyne remain long-term absentees for Belgium, with the former a significant doubt to reach the EUROs next summer should his nation qualify.

Man City's Jérémy Doku should start on the right wing in place of Johan Bakayoko while Yannick Carasco is expected to retain his place following his goal at the weekend.

Orel Mangala could replace Youri Tielemans in the middle in what would likely represent the only chances to the weekend's XI.

            Estonia Team News

Rauno Sappinen missed out on this international break for Estonia so they're looking fairly light up top.

Players will be hoping for changes following the hammering against Sweden last time out with Erik Sorga looking for a place in the starting XI.
