For our Bosnia vs. Iceland prediction, we're going for a 2-1 win for the home side.
Bosnia and Herzegovina face Iceland in a Group J clash in a EURO 2024 qualifying clash.
Bosnia are looking to qualify for their first ever European Championships as an independent national having only qualified for one in its history: the 2014 World Cup.
Bosnia enter this game amidst a decent run of form having won four, drawn two and lost one of their last seven matches but having been beaten comprehensively by Romania in a 4-1 defeat in their most recent game there is some concern coming into this game.
Their form on home soil, though, has been impressive of late having won each of their last four matches on home soil having kept three clean sheets in that period.
They're coming off the back of a pretty dismal World Cup qualifying campaign having won one, drawn four and lost three of their eight games.
Given 2nd place will qualify for the EUROs automatically Bosnia should be hopeful of making this tournament given they'll likely be competing with Iceland and Slovakia for 2nd place. This game is, then, a must win for Bosnia.
Iceland have been struggling for the last few years having failed to hit the heights of their EURO 2016 campaign in the years following that tournament.
They enter this game having won two (both penalty shootouts), drawn one and lost two of their last five matches.
Their World Cup qualifying campaign was a forgettable one having won two, drawn three and lost five of their ten matches.
In their UEFA Nations League campaign last summer, their most recent competitive encounters, Iceland drew all four games they played against Albania and Israel.
Their form away from home is not great having won two and lost three of their last five games on the road.
Iceland are a fairly unremarkable team at the moment and are highly unlikely to qualify for this tournament. As far as this game is concerned three points is unlikely.
