Finland vs. San Marino Prediction, Tips & Stats

Finland face arguably the easiest task in UEFA's international qualification processes as they face San Marino in EURO 2024 qualifying on Monday.

Finland currently sit 3rd in qualifying Group H with two wins and loss from three games so far.

After starting their campaign with a 3-1 defeat away at Denmark, Finland have now registered two wins on the bounce having beaten Northern Ireland 1-0 away from home before beating Slovenia 2-0 last time out.

The win against Slovenia was a huge one as they are the team they'll consider their main rivals for 2nd place, so providing they don't have any more major slip ups they're very much in pole position for progression out of the group along with Denmark.

They're generally good on home soil having lost only one of their last five games at home so they should claim another comfortable victory here.

Manager Markku Kanerva will be pleased by the fact his side have now kept consecutive clean sheets, something that will stand them in very good stead if they manage to keep it up.

This should be an extremely simple game for Finland as they face a side many consider the worst in international football.

The likes of Teemu Pukki will want to add to his tally and many others will look to join him. Expect a convincing Finland win here.

San Marino currently sit bottom of Group H with three losses from their first three games of qualifying.

It's business as usual for San Marino who've lost every European Championship game they've ever played, bar one single 0-0 draw with Estonia back in 2014, and that looks set to continue in this campaign.

They began proceedings with successive 2-0 defeats to Northern Ireland and Slovenia before falling 0-3 to Kazakhstan last time out.

There isn't much to say about San Marino other than expect them to lose almost every match they play fairly comfortably.

At some stage their participation in these qualifiers may be debated but for now things will carry on as they always have.

For our Finland vs. San Marino prediction, we're going for a 3-0 win for the home side.
