Kosovo are looking to make some ground on the top two in Group I as they face Romania in EURO 2024 qualifying this weekend.
Kosovo currently sit 3rd in Group I with two draws from their first two games of qualifying.
They began their campaign with a solid 1-1 draw at Israel before a repeat result saw them held to a disappointing draw at home to Andorra by the same scoreline.
The draw with Andorra was a huge blow to Kosovo and sets them back significantly in their quest to qualify as it was arguably the easiest fixture of the group on paper.
They're now coming into this game off the back of four consecutive draws, a run of form that does not inspire much confidence despite the fact they're unbeaten in their last five.
Despite that draw with Andorra their form at home is still pretty strong having taken seven points from their last three competitive games on home soil, so they can lean on that coming into what is a huge game for them.
Kosovo have a solid side on paper with nearly their whole squad playing in a good league in Europe and they'll be desperate to capitalise on that given most of their players are bang in their prime.
They do, however, drastically need to start picking up wins if they are to make the trip to Germany next year and that must start here.
Romania currently sit 2nd in Group I with two wins from their first two games of qualifying.
Romania's campaign kicked off in expected fashion as they beat Andorra 2-0 away from home before overcoming Belarus by two goals to one on their own patch.
As such, Romania have now won their last three competitive matches in a row and they're also unbeaten in their last four so they enter this game in very good shape.
Away from home things aren't so rosey, however, as they've won just one of their last five competitive games on the road - their recent 2-0 win in Andorra.
Romania aren't all that strong on paper but the group has shaped up for them nicely in the opening fixtures and a win here would do wonders for their qualification chances.
Three points will be difficult to come by here but a draw is very much on the cards for the Eastern European side.
For our Kosovo vs. Romania prediction, we're going for a 2-2 draw.
