Sky Bet’s AccaFreeze Feature: How It Works & How To Use It

AccaFreeze is a new feature from Sky Bet that allows you to simply freeze one winning leg on an accumulator that has five or more legs with at least one team to win.

In order to try out this new feature, you must do the following:

• Build an accumulator with at least 5 teams with one of the teams selected to win
• Place your qualifying bet (you will be able to see this in ‘My Bets’)
• When one of your teams is winning, you will be given the option to freeze your selection
• Select the team/match you want to freeze the score for, this can be cancelled should you want to reverse your decision
• Once frozen the selection will appear with a blue tick with the term ‘frozen’ on the bet slip
• If your remaining selections win alongside your frozen leg then your accumulator will be settled as a winning bet. The potential winnings will remain the same as when your bet was initially placed.

Using AccaFreeze is simple, as long as you follow the basic rules:

• Your accumulator must have at least 5 selections
• All selections must be on the Full Time Result market
• Maximum stake on the accumulator of £20
• It must only contain the selected AccaFreeze eligible competitions (which covers all top level leagues)

Each Sky Bet player gets 3 AccaFreezes per week (resetting at 8am each Monday), and you can only use one Freeze per accumulator.

There are several circumstances that could be useful as to when to use Sky Bet’s AccaFreeze:

• When one of the teams on your selection has had a man sent off
• If you have chosen an underdog to win at high odds and they take the lead
• If you have selected a team in an evenly contested match and they score the first goal

This new feature is highly recommended for users of Sky Bet, as ultimately, it allows you to have more control over your accumulator in a unique way.

AccaFreeze is now offered to all customers, whether you signed up today or five years ago.

However, there is the possibility that your bet has not reached the requirements to qualify for AccaFreeze.

You must make sure that you have not added any markets that prevent the AccaFreeze feature. i.e. Draw No Bet

You’ll be able to visibly see any freeze opportunities by going to ‘My Bets’ and scrolling to the ‘Open Bets’ section.

Once a leg is in a winning position, you will be able to freeze your selection. It must be noted, that you can only freeze one leg of your accumulator, so make sure to use AccaFreeze wisely!

You will still be able to cash out if you’ve frozen one of the legs via AccaFreeze.

The frozen leg will actually enhance your Cash Out offer as it will count as a win on your bet slip.
