Robert Lewandowski to be German Bundesliga Top Scorer – 4/9

Last season Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski managed 41 Bundesliga goals in 29 league games, which was a new German top-flight record in an 18 team format. The Polish striker has started life well this season, managing two goals in his first two matches of the campaign against Koln and Borussia Monchengladbach.

The Bayern man has only failed to win this individual accolade once since the start of the 2015/16 season, of which Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is the only break in the chain in the 2016/17 for Borussia Dortmund. If Lewandowski wins the Golden Boot this season then it will be the seventh time which he has managed it, which would be a joint record held with Gerd Muller. The 33-year-old former Lech Poznan striker has scored 401 goals in 519 appearances for Dortmund and Bayern, winning the Golden Boot at both clubs.

Romelu Lukaku to be Premier League Top Scorer – 11/4

Romelu Lukaku became the most expensive striker in British football history when he arrived back at Chelsea from Inter Milan for £97.5m.

The 28-year-old Belgian comes back to the Premier League having played a vital role in helping Inter Milan to win the Serie A, where he scored 24 league goals in 36 appearances, one more than he managed at the San Siro the season before.

Lukaku has previously had spells in the Premier League with the Stamford Bridge club, where he played just 10 league matches, being sent out on loan to West Bromwich Albion where he netted 17 goals in 35 matches, before being sent out on loan to Everton in the 2013/14 campaign, where he managed 15 in 31, seeing the Toffees sign him on a permanent deal. Following this, he scored 53 goals in 110 league matches whilst at Everton on a permanent basis, before making a £75m switch to Manchester United where he scored 28 in 66 Premier League games.

Chelsea’s new acquisition started life well on his second debut for the club on Sunday, scoring the opener in their comfortable 2-0 win against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium which was the 28-year-old’s 114th Premier League goal.

Lukaku is priced at 11/4 to win the Premier League Golden Boot.

Karim Benzema to be La Liga Top Scorer – 11/4

Karim Benzema’s 2020/21 season was nothing short of sensational despite Real Madrid finishing the season as trophyless. The 33-year-old former Lyon man scored 23 goals and made nine assists in 34 La Liga matches as his side narrowly lost out to city rivals Atletico Madrid. The Frenchman finished as third top scorer in the division, one behind Gerard Moreno and eight adrift of Lionel Messi, who has since departed Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain.

The Frenchman has known for being a prolific striker but has never won the Golden Boot in his time at Real, but this is mainly due to the dominance that Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have had in La Liga since the 33-year-old’s arrival from Lyon in the summer of 2009. In 385 league matches for Real, Benzema has scored 194 goals and his overall record at the club stands at 281 goals and 146 assists in 561 appearances.

Benzema is priced at 11/4 to finish as the top scorer in La Liga for the first time in his career.

Cristiano Ronaldo to be Serie A Top Scorer – 5/2

Ronaldo is next up to be the top scorer in his league for Juventus. The 36-year-old has managed 81 goals in 98 league matches for Juventus and is showing no slowing down, having managed to win the Golden Boot at Euro 2020 in the summer, despite his side only reaching the round of 16 of the competition.

Last season Ronaldo won the Serie A Golden Boot with 29 goals to his name despite Juventus’ poor season which saw them finish in third place, showing that the Portuguese forward is reliable as ever. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has scored 479 league goals since making his debut for Sporting Lisbon in the 2002/03 season where he started off as a winger before converting to a striker in his latter days at Manchester United.

Ronaldo is the only ever player to win the Golden Boot in the Premier League, La Liga and the Serie A having managed it last season.

The Juventus striker is priced at 5/2 to be the top scorer in Serie A in back-to-back seasons.

Kylian Mbappe to be Ligue 1 Top Scorer – 11/8

PSG striker Kylian Mbappe has won the Ligue 1 Golden Boot in each of the last seasons. The 22-year-old 2018 World Cup winner managed 33 in 29 appearances in the 2018/19 season, as well as 18 in 20 in 2019/20 and 27 goals in 31 fixtures last season, but will know that he will have to step his game up with the arrival of Messi at the Parc des Princes.

Mbappe has a sensational goal tally for PSG since joining the club in the summer of 2017 from AS Monaco, finding the back of the net 133 times in 174 matches and will no doubt be desperate to show once again why so many clubs are interested in his services in what is the last year of his contract. The 22-year-old has started life well so far this season, scoring in PSG’s 4-2 win at Brest on Friday night.

Mbappe is priced at 11/8 to win the Ligue 1 Golden Boot for a fourth season in a row.
