Norwich City vs Derby County: Norwich to score in both halves

Norwich City face Derby County in the early kick-off on Saturday at Carrow Road, with both sides making below-par starts to their respective seasons thus far, the latter losing their opening three fixtures. Derby were embarrassed last time out at home to Blackburn Rovers in a 4-0 defeat and will be hoping they can bounce back to collect points for the first time this season.

The Canaries have done well to keep hold of their key players so far this summer, with Jamal Lewis being the only notable departure of note. Daniel Farke’s side have also added to their attack by bringing in Jordan Hugill, a proven striker at this level, as the East Anglian side attempt to regain promotion to the top flight at the first time of asking.

The Rams have conceded in five of their six halves of Championship football so far. However, they have their won last two visits to Norwich and will be determined to prove that they are a better side that their recent results would suggest.

For Norwich to score in both halves is priced at 6/4 - click here to claim this bet in your weekend acca.

Blackburn Rovers vs Cardiff City: Both teams to score and Blackburn win

Blackburn Rovers look to continue their good form as they take on Neil Harris’ Cardiff City. Both sides will likely be looking to push for the play-offs this season, after an impressive start from Rovers and a play-off semi-final finish last season by Cardiff.

Tony Mowbray’s side have scored nine goals and have not conceded in their last two games, notably winning 4-0 at Derby last time out. The Lancashire side are the top scorers in the league (11) and are just one goal away from having double the number of goals as the second top scorers in the league, Reading, who have six.

The Bluebirds main signing of the window is Kieffer Moore from Wigan, the tall striker will be looking to use his physicality this weekend and add to his goal tally. Both teams have scored in three of the last four meetings between the two sides.

Sky Bet are offering odds of 7/2 for both teams to score and Blackburn to win - click here to claim.

Luton Town vs Wycombe Wanderers – Luton (-1) 9/4 and (-2) 13/2

Luton Town go head to head with Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday in what may well turn out to be a relegation six-pointer, come the end of the season. However, Nathan Jones revitalised this Luton side last season and will be looking to steer them well clear of the relegation battle.

Although The Hatters have lost their last two games, Jones’ side will take pride from only losing 1-0 away at league favourites Watford and then giving Manchester United a difficult game in the EFL Cup. Although Luton’s last three wins have all been by a margin of just one goal, they have beaten Wycombe by two and three goal margins in the last two meetings between the sides.

Gareth Ainsworth’s side were the subject of a surprising promotion last season and are yet to prove that they are good enough to remain in the Championship. The Chairboys lost their only other away game this season 5-0 and are yet to score this campaign.

Luton are 4/5 to win, 9/4 with a (-1) handicap - click here to claim this handicap bet in your acca.

Nottingham Forest vs Bristol City – Bristol City to score first 6/5

Nottingham Forest face a huge game this weekend as they look to get their first points of the season against Bristol City. Failure to win may well result in the first sacking of the season, with under-pressure boss Sabri Lamouchi being the victim of mass criticism following his failure to secure a play-off spot last season and then losing his opening four games this season.

Forest have scored the first goal in just one of the last six meetings between the two sides and have conceded the opening goal in all four of their competitive fixtures this season. After six successive defeats, Lamouchi may feel that failure to win, or even draw, could result in his departure from the County Ground.

The Robins have excelled under new head coach Dean Holden and have won their opening three league fixtures, conceding just once. In contrast to Lamouchi’s side, City have scored the opening goal in each of their games in the Championship this season.

Sky Bet are offering odds of 6/4 for Bristol City to score the first goal of the game.

Rotherham United vs Huddersfield Town – Draw at Half Time 1/1

The New York Stadium hosts a Yorkshire derby this weekend as newly-promoted Rotherham United face Huddersfield Town in what is sure to be an interesting and tense clash. Both teams combined have only scored three goals so far this season, so it is fair to assume this will be a tight affair.

The Millers have been drawing 0-0 at half time in all four of their competitive fixtures so far this season. Paul Warne’s side haven’t scored more than once in their last seven games and will be hoping that new signing George Hirst, son of Sheffield Wednesday legend David Hirst, can open his goalscoring account since joining on loan from Leicester City.

Amazingly, Town have also been drawing 0-0 at half time in all four of their games thus far. New head coach Carlos Corberan has implemented a new playing style since joining the Terriers and it is starting to show, the West Yorkshire side will be looking to follow up their victory over Nottingham Forest in style, by picking up another three points.

Sky Bet are offering odds of 6/4 for the game to be 0-0 at half time, alternatively, you can back the half time result to be a draw at 1/1.
