Athens v Leicester: Maddison and Iheanacho to score

Leicester City got their Europa League campaign off to a strong start as they were victorious over Zorya at home in a 3-0 match, with goals from Harvey Barnes, James Maddison and Kelechi Iheanacho.

AEK Athens suffered the same fate as Zorya as they too were defeated 3-0 by Braga at the Estadio Municipal de Braga.

With Brendan Rodgers’ men wanting to continue their European campaign in style, another high-scoring victory should be predicted with a similar side fielded for this game. Iheanacho has hardly featured in the league for Leicester, due to the form of Jamie Vardy, but no doubt the ex-Manchester City man will be the striker moving forward for the Europa League matches. Maddison however, will continue to be a goal threat as he looks to build on his one goal in four games thus far.

Currently, Maddison and Iheanacho to score against AEK Athens are priced at odds of 8/1.

Antwerp v Spurs - BTTS and Totttenham to win

In the last round of fixtures in the Europa League, Jose Mourinho’s side won comfortably against Austrian club LASK Linz in a 3-0 win as Lucas Moura and Son Heung-Min netted as well as an own goal from their opponents. More than likely, Spurs will line-up similar as they travel to Belgium for their next match, especially given how they travelled to Burnley on Monday.

Royal Antwerp in their first fixture defeated Ludogorets Razgrad 2-1. Ivan Leko’s men are ow top of the Belgium First Division A with Sporting Charleroi with a game in hand. The side are currently third highest goalscorers in the league with 21 goals in 10 fixtures.

Both sides come into this fixture strong but with Spurs’ quality, it should be another victory in the cup. Although so far in the Premier League, Jose Mourinho’s men are yet to keep a clean sheet. The only two matches have Spurs not conceded this year are the last fixture in the Europa League against LASK and their first match in the Carabao Cup against Leyton Orient.

As a result, BTTS and Tottenham to win odds are now priced at 15/8.

Qarabag v Villarreal: Villarreal to win and Over 2.5 Goals in the match

Villarreal got off to a strong start in Group I of the Europa League last week, as they defeated Sivasspor in a 5-3 goal-fest at the Estadio de la Ceramica. The promising youngster, Takefusa Kubo, was among the scoresheet as was Carlos Bacca, Juan Foyth and Paco Alcacer - the latter scored a brace after coming on as a substitute in the 70th minute.

Qarabag FK, on the other hand, lost their first match against Maccabi Tel Aviv in a closely fought 1-0 fixture. Although they might have the advantage this week as the Spanish club will have to travel to Azerbaijan for their midweek clash. This can cause problems for the players.

Coming into this fixture, Villarreal looks the far better side and could go on for another high-scoring game, despite their failure to score in the league against Cadiz at the weekend. With Qarabag goalless in two games, this doesn’t look promising for them.

We're tipping Villarreal to win and over 2.5 goals in the match is priced at odds of 6/4.

Arsenal v Dundalk: Arsenal to win 4-0

Last gameweek in the Europa League, Arsenal defeated Rapid Wien away by a scoreline of 2-1 with David Luiz and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scoring late into the fixture to overturn the losing position.

Dundalk lost their first game also by a score of 1-2 with Norwegian club Molde taking the three points and the Irish club were dominated in the fixture and could’ve conceded more.

Recently for the Gunners, they have been in a poor goalscoring form as they fail to register more than two goals in a game since the first match of the season against Fulham, whilst Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is in his worst run of form at the club, having not scored in five league games.

However, with Dundalk's torrid form is worrying and against a significantly better side in the Gunners could see the floodgates open - we're tipping Arsenal to win with a 4-0 scoreline for this one.

Rangers v Poznan: Tavernier to score and win

In Group D of the Europa League, Rangers have shown their strength as they defeated Standard Liege 2-0. This has been a familiar sight of the club this campaign as Steven Gerrard’s men are unbeaten in all competitions so far this season, and look like seriously challenging for title number 55 in Scotland.

Lech Poznan, on the other hand, did lose their first match in the Europa League in a 4-2 defeat to Benfica.

So far in the Europa League, James Tavernier has scored in every game for Rangers, including the preliminary rounds and has totalled a fabulous nine goals in 16 matches in all competitions.

With Rangers set to face Lech Poznan at the Ibrox this Thursday, Gerrard will want to continue his unbeaten run. Currently, Tavernier to score and Rangers to win is boosted to 7/2.
