5 Premier League Goalscorer Tips to Watch This Weekend - Gameweek 5

Latest News

Chelsea vs Southampton Tips: Jorginho to score

Chelsea were dominant as they beat Crystal Palace 4-0 at Stamford Bridge in their last outing, with Jorginho getting on the scoresheet twice courtesy of two penalties.

Southampton have kept two clean sheets in their last two games and have taken four points in their last two visits to Stamford Bridge, so may well fancy their chances in south west London. The Saints could also see a second debut for Theo Walcott, who has returned to the club on loan from Everton, as well as a debut for Ibrahima Diallo.

This week’s only Premier League 3pm kick off looks to be a tight game and could well see a penalty given, as, with compliments to VAR, 18 have already been netted. Sky Bet are offering odds of 10/1 for Jorginho to score 1st and 4/1 for Jorginho to score and Chelsea win.

Man City vs Arsenal Tips: Raheem Sterling to score

Manchester City were embarrassed in the 5-2 defeat to Leicester City in their last home game and must put on another stellar show to keep up their fear factor of a visit to the Etihad.

Raheem Sterling has scored three in his last four Premier League games against Arsenal and will likely be starting up front, with injuries to strikers Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus.

Arsenal have lost their last four away games against City and have lost three of their last four games away from home in the Premier League in general. The Gunners were notoriously poor on their travels last season, picking up just four wins in 19 games and accumulating just 20 points over the duration of the season.

Now, with City's main man in-form again this season, we are tipping the odds of 7/2 for Sterling to score first, whilst you can also get a boosted price of 6/1 for Sterling and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to get on the score sheet.

Newcastle United vs Manchester United – Bruno Fernandes

Newcastle have had a decent start to the season so far, having lost just once in all competitions - a 3-0 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion. They will be looking to new signing and top scorer Callum Wilson to lead the line and add to his current four goals in four games, and the Englishman is boosted to 7/2 to score and win.

The Red Devils have an incredible record away from home and haven’t lost a Premier League away fixture since January, winning their last five. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be relying on this form to silence his critics and get United back on track after their impressive form towards the end of the last campaign finished them in third place.

The signing of Bruno Fernandes, who now has 10 goals in his 17 Premier League games for the club, has been the difference in United's fortune, and it seems if the club are to return to their stellar Project Restart form, he will be key.

Fernandes is priced at 15/8 to score and win, whilst the Portuguese is boosted to 8/1 to score from outside the area.

Spurs vs West Ham: Harry Kane

Tottenham Hotspur come into this game off the back of an incredible 6-1 win at Old Trafford but have won just one of their last four home games against West Ham United. However, they will be boosted by the return of Gareth Bale, who has been deemed fit to play and will no doubt help Spurs status of becoming the best attacking team in the league - they have the joint-most goals so far with 12.

Kane, who also has eight goals and seven assists in all competitions, is as prolific as anybody in league when it comes to facing the Hammes, with nine goals in 12 against them.

Meanwhile, Moyes’ West Ham will also be oozing with confidence after a 3-0 victory at Leicester City in their last game and a 4-0 win over Wolves in the game before.

Now, with Bale officially set to return, Kane is priced at 14/5 to score first and 13/10 to score and Spurs win.

Leicester vs Villa: Jack Grealish

After a very topsy-turvy start, Leicester City will be looking to restore normality by picking up three points at home to Aston Villa this weekend.

Aston Villa have had the perfect start thus far, including a famous 7-2 mauling of champions Liverpool last time out. Jack Grealish will be out to prove a point after being neglected by England manager Gareth Southgate during the international break, missing the games against Belgium and Denmark, despite his Man of the Match performance against Wales.

We expect Grealish to seek the initiative and prove Southgate wrong by leading his team and collecting points at the King Power Stadium this week. The England international is 9/1 to score first and boosted to 14/1 to score from outside the area.
