In Saturday’s early kick-off, Manchester United host Manchester City at Old Trafford in what is a must-win game for both sides if they are to have any ambitions of chasing down league leaders Chelsea.

United come into this game with a good record in league derby matches, having won three out of the last four, with the other being a 0-0 stalemate at Old Trafford last season and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be hoping for more of the same in an attempt to try and keep critics off his back.

Cristiano Ronaldo will be integral to United’s plans as he was in midweek when his brace saved United from a potentially disastrous defeat away at Atalanta. The 36-year-old Portuguese striker’s double means that he has scored nine goals in 12 games and is priced at 14/1 to score a header like he did in the Red Devils’ 3-2 win over Atalanta last month.

Brentford take on Norwich City at the Brentford Community Stadium in a match which the Bees are firmly expected to win when contrasting the pairs' starts to life in the Premier League this campaign.

Norwich have the worst goal difference in Premier League history after 10 games, with it being -22 and have four less points than Derby County had at this stage of the season in 2007/08.

Meanwhile, Brentford have had a good start to life in England’s top-flight, as Thomas Frank’s side sit on 12 points from 10 games, although they come into this match on the back of three losses to Chelsea, Leicester City and Burnley.

Ivan Toney has impressed this season for the Bees, as the former Newcastle United man has scored two and assisted two in their opening 10 matches, with both of his goals being openers against Aston Villa and Wolves. The 25-year-old also scored first in a 1-1 draw here against the Canaries in October last year.

Saturday’s 5:30 pm kick-off sees Brighton & Hove Albion go head to head with Newcastle at the Amex.

The Seagulls will be looking to build from their impressive 2-2 draw with Liverpool at Anfield last time out where Enock Mwepu and Leandro Trossard both got on the scoresheet. The Seagulls have won many plaudits for their style of play under Graham Potter and have won four of their opening 10 league matches, of which both teams scored in two of these, as they defeated Burnley and Leicester 2-1.

Antonio Conte will take charge of his first Premier League match on Sunday when Spurs travel to Goodison Park where they’ll face an Everton team that have faded off in recent weeks.

The Toffees have lost three league matches in a row following 1-0, 5-2 and 2-1 losses to West Ham, Watford and Wolverhampton Wanderers, seeing them slide down to 10th in the table and have just one point less than Tottenham have managed, although the Spurs players will likely be looking to impress their new manager and not repeat the 3-0 thumping they received at home to Manchester United last time out.

Leeds United and Leicester City take on one another at Elland Road on Sunday, with both sides looking to improve on slightly disappointing starts to their season.

Marcelo Bielsa’s men managed just their second victory of the campaign last time out away at Norwich thanks to goals by Raphinha and Rodrigo, lifting them three points above the drop zone following Burnley’s win on Saturday. The Whites have scored 10 and conceded 17 across their first 10 Premier League fixtures.

Meanwhile, the Foxes lost last time out to Arsenal 2-0 at the King Power Stadium where Aaron Ramsdale put in a sensational performance for the Gunners. But Brendan Rodgers’ side did win their previous two games prior to their defeat last time out, as they beat Brentford 2-1 and Manchester United 4-2 thanks to late goals by Jamie Vardy and Patson Daka. Leicester beat Spartak Moscow 4-3 away from home in the Europa League where Zambia international Daka scored all four goals.
