Wolverhampton Wanderers welcome relegation-threatened West Bromwich Albion to Molineux this weekend in the hope of ending a poor run of recent form.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have struggled in recent weeks, and since their impressive win over Chelsea in mid-December, they have failed to register a win in the subsequent five fixtures. Everton were the latest side to inflict defeat on them, with a late Michael Keane goal enough to see The Toffees record a 2-1 victory.
West Brom have endured an even worse run of form, going seven games without a win and losing seven in the process. To make matters worse for new manager Sam Allardyce, the Baggies were dumped out of the FA Cup in midweek by Blackpool after extra-time and penalties, so they may feel the effects of that going into this weekend’s game.
West Brom have conceded two goals or more in the first half in their previous two fixtures, and we have tipped Wolves to repeat that this weekend against a side desperately low on confidence.
Wolves to score 2+ goals in the first half is currently 4/1.
