Wolves vs West Brom - Wolves 2+ Goals First Half: 4/1

Wolverhampton Wanderers welcome relegation-threatened West Bromwich Albion to Molineux this weekend in the hope of ending a poor run of recent form.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have struggled in recent weeks, and since their impressive win over Chelsea in mid-December, they have failed to register a win in the subsequent five fixtures. Everton were the latest side to inflict defeat on them, with a late Michael Keane goal enough to see The Toffees record a 2-1 victory.

West Brom have endured an even worse run of form, going seven games without a win and losing seven in the process. To make matters worse for new manager Sam Allardyce, the Baggies were dumped out of the FA Cup in midweek by Blackpool after extra-time and penalties, so they may feel the effects of that going into this weekend’s game.

West Brom have conceded two goals or more in the first half in their previous two fixtures, and we have tipped Wolves to repeat that this weekend against a side desperately low on confidence.

Wolves to score 2+ goals in the first half is currently 4/1.

Leeds vs Brighton - Leeds to Win and BTTS: 3/1

Leeds United host Brighton & Hove Albio at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon, and Marcelo Bielsa will be eager to make amends after an embarrassing cup defeat to Crawley last Sunday.

The Whites have been an exciting side to watch this season and the unpredictability of their performances is shown in their results. They have won three of their last five, however, and have cemented a place on the edge of the top 10. Despite this, they do hold the second-worst defensive record in the league, so they are certainly vulnerable to attack.

Brighton will be looking to exploit that as much as they can this weekend in the hope of distancing themselves from the relegation zone. They are just one place above Fulham who are in 18th, and a defeat here could spell disaster for Graham Potter and his side.

We expect Bielsa’s side to bounce back after their FA Cup hiccup, but not without Brighton causing them problems at the back, which is why we’ve tipped Leeds to win and both teams to score at 3/1.

Liverpool vs Manchester United - Liverpool to Win and Over 2.5 Goals: 2/1

A new title decider seems to come around whenever the big teams play each other this season, but the claustrophobic nature at the top means fixtures like these may well be pivotal in this season’s title race.

Manchester United’s win over Burnley in midweek moved them three points ahead of Sunday’s opponents Liverpool; the first time the Red Devils at this point in the year since 2013.

Jurgen Klopp will certainly be feeling his Premier League crown is under pressure for the first time in over a year, and will be desperate to move level on points with Solskjaer’s side with a win here.

Recent history certainly swings in the favour of Liverpool, who haven’t lost since March 2018, and most recently recorded a 2-0 victory back in January of last year. Despite United’s stunning run of form, we still think Klopp will not settle for anything less than three points here, which is why we’ve tipped them to get the win here and there to be over 2.5 goals at 2/1.

Manchester City vs Crystal Palace - Phil Foden to Score and City to Win: 13/8

Manchester City welcome Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon, in the hope of moving up to second.

Having endured a stuttering start to the campaign, Pep Guardiola’s side are now on a four-game winning streak, most recently dispatching Brighton in a dazzling display, courtesy of another goal from Phil Foden. The England youngster has been nothing short of sensational for City is what is turning out to be his breakthrough season, and now leads their scoring charts this season from attacking midfield.

Crystal Palace returned to winning ways last time out, albeit against strugglers Sheffield United, putting an end to a five game winless run. However, we do expect City to have too much quality for Roy Hodgson’s side, and we have tipped Foden to continue his impressive goalscoring exploits here and his side to get the win at 13/8.

Leicester vs Southampton - Harvey Barnes to Assist Jamie Vardy and Jamie Vardy to Assist Harvey Barnes: 80/1

Leicester host Southampton on Saturday evening in a bid to keep their title hopes alive, and further cement their status as a top four team.

Brendan Rodgers’ side have again been one of the most consistent sides in the division so far, and their win over Newcastle United last time out moved them within four points of first place Man United.

Southampton pose a difficult challenge for the Foxes, and Ralph Hasenhuttl’s emotional outburst at the end of his side’s impressive victory over Liverpool shows how far the Saints have come this season.

We do expect Rodgers to get the better of the German in this fixture however, and we’ve identified an interesting ‘return the favour’ tip, with Barnes to assist Vardy, and Vardy to assist Barnes at 80/1.

Harvey Barnes has silenced doubters over his end product this season, registering nine goals so far, while Jamie Vardy has continued in usual fashion, scoring 13 and assisting five.
