Altrincham are set to take on Chester in the National League North play-offs this Sunday as the Robins look to take their first steps back into the National League. This weekend will be the first set of non-league fixtures since March due to the suspension, but at 11/10, Alty are certainly in a bright place to establish themselves as a threat in this play-off battle.
Phil Parkinson's men will meet with York City in the semi-finals of the play-offs, should they get past Chester this weekend. Altrincham will be away from home in this fixture because York finished top of the table and have, therefore, been granted the home advantage - each play-off match is just one leg.
Should they make it to the final, awaiting the Robins will be either Boston United, Gateshead or Brackley Town, depending on how things unfold in the other fixtures.
