In what is the game of the weekend in the Premier League, champions Arsenal travel to Anfield to take on Liverpool as they look to keep pace with Manchester City.
Liverpool are currently 4th in the Premier League with 15 points from eight games. The Reds are starting to come into their own under Andoni Iraola, who is astutely managing a very imbalanced squad.
In the league, Liverpool have won three, drawn one and lost two of their last five. Their most recent league game was a 2-0 win over Brighton, a strong result considering the Seagulls' start to the season.
In all competitions, Liverpool have lost just one of their last ten, winning eight of those. The club have won all three games in the Champions League, facing tricky opposition such as Atletico Madrid and Villarreal.
The Gunners come into this one 2nd in the league on goal difference having won seven and lost one of their eight games.
Arsenal's form is strong, with the team winning seven of their last ten in all competitions. They did, though, lose on penalties to League Two Fleetwood Town in midweek, marking one of the biggest upsets in recent history in English football.
There's also some concern surrounding the fitness of their squad, with key players (William Saliba, Bukayo Saka and Christos Tzolis) out injured, while the likes of Declan Rice and Noni Madueke have been struggling with knocks. The latter two are expected to be passed fit, but Arsenal don't come into this game in an ideal condition.
