Norwich City vs Cardiff City: Gabriel Sara & Josh Sargent to both score - 10/1

Our first goalscorer tip for this weekend takes us to 9th-place Norwich City’s match with struggling Cardiff, in a match that should see the Canaries emerge with a win.

Now although Cardiff are currently 21st in the Championship and have lost four of their last six league matches, they seem to have taken a turn recently by picking up wins in their last two matches. However, we think that Norwich will halt any momentum that Cardiff have picked up with a win in this one.

Key to a Norwich win will be Josh Sargent, who has 11 goals so far this season, and who we think will score in this match. In addition, Gabriel Sara has contributed three goals from midfield so far this season, with all three of those goals having come against current bottom-half sides in Preston, Stoke and Hull. Therefore, against a Cardiff side who are teetering on the edge of the relegation zone, we think that Sara will further add to his tally so far this season.

Burnley vs Huddersfield: Nathan Tella to Score 2+ goals - 15/2

Our second tip sees current Championship leaders Burnley take on lowly Huddersfield, and we expect Nathan Tella, who has been one of the division’s players of the season so far, to have a big impact upon proceedings this weekend.

Tella, who has already scored 12 goals so far this season, recently scored a hat-trick against Preston, with two of the goals coming within four minutes of each other. So against a poor Huddersfield side who look set to be relegated this season and have conceded 43 goals so far, we think that the Southampton loanee will repeat his Preston heroics by scoring multiple goals against the Terriers.

Peterborough vs Plymouth Argyle: Ryan Hardie to Score Last - 7/1

Two of League One’s top 10 sides do battle this Saturday, with 2nd-place Plymouth in need of a win against Peterborough as they chase top spot.

The Posh have been in fine form all season, and have picked up four wins from their last six league fixtures. But, with Plymouth in desperate need of points to keep pace with leaders Sheffield Wednesday, we expect the Pilgrims to put in the performance required to keep up with the leaders by beating Peterborough in this one.

Key to picking up a win will be winger Ryan Hardie, who has had a fantastic season with 11 goals to his name so far and has hit a purple patch as of late with four goals in his last six games in all competitions. Three of those four goals all came in the second half of matches, with goals in stoppage time against Portsmouth and Oxford United, and one just after the hour mark against Cheltenham on Tuesday. Therefore, we think that Hardie will carry on that streak with another late goal in this weekend’s game.

Portsmouth vs Cheltenham: Colby Bishop to Score & Portsmouth to win - 9/4

The second of our League One tips involves Portsmouth and Cheltenham, and for Portsmouth’s talisman Colby Bishop, we predict that he will add to the 12 goals he has already scored this season in this game.

What supports this theory is not only Bishop’s two recent goals against Fleetwood and Barnsley, but his performance in the reverse fixture against Cheltenham all the way back in August, with the Englishman scoring a brace as his side ran out 2-0 winners.

The summer signing from Accrington Stanley has enjoyed a stellar first campaign with Pompey, and we expect him to continue his goalscoring streak against 19th-place Cheltenham this weekend.

Crawley vs Carlisle: Kristian Dennis to Score in First 10 Minutes - 18/1

Carlisle’s Kristian Dennis is leading the League Two goalscoring charts so far this season, with the Englishman having scored 17 goals so far. And we expect the 32-year-old to add to that tally this weekend when Carlisle face a struggling Crawley side, with Scott Lindsey’s side having conceded the third-most goals in the division and are currently sitting in 23rd place.

So this should be a relatively simple win for Carlisle, and we expect them to score early on in this fixture. The Cumbrians have opened the scoring within the opening 10 minutes in two of their last six league games, with early goals against both Rochdale and Colchester recently. And so against a Crawley side struggling for form and defensive solidity, we expect Carlisle to breach their backline early on in this match.
