Football Accumulator Tips: Monday Championship Accumulator

The EFL's Easter festivities resume this week as Monday provides a full lineup of Championship action to get stuck into.

Monday's lineup is a an appetising one, and we've picked out four fixtures to make up a 68/1 accumulator for the 3pm kick-offs:

  • Ipswich Town vs Birmingham City
  • Derby County vs Stoke City
  • Preston North End vs Queens Park Rangers
  • Sheffield Wednesday vs Leicester City

Ipswich Town vs Birmingham City

Ipswich Town are chasing down automatic promotion, currently 4th in the league table and three points behind Millwall in 2nd with two games in hand. The Tractor Boys come into this game in good form, unbeaten in seven games, winning four of those. Their home form is even more impressive, with Kieran McKenna's team unbeaten in 15 games on home soil, winning ten of those.

Birmingham, on the other hand, seem to be suffering a late season collapse, as they come into this game with only two wins in ten games. They've also lost five of their last seven, so they enter this game out of sorts.

Tip: Ipswich To Win

Derby County vs Stoke City

Derby County continue their play-off push this week as they lock horns with Stoke City at Pride Park. The Rams have been in good form on home soil of late, winning all of their last four games, claiming wins against Birmingham, Sheffield Wednesday, Blackburn and Swansea. They've also been a reliable BTTS pick when playing on home soil, with six of their last eight games at home seeing BTTS occur.

In direct contrast to Derby's fortunes, Stoke City have been struggling away from home in recent weeks. The Potters are winless in their last six on the road and have lost all of their last four, losing to Preston, Swansea, Coventry and Charlton. Like Derby, six of their last eight games have seen BTTS occur.

Tip: Derby To Win & BTTS

Preston North End vs Queens Park Rangers

QPR's are hoping to maintain their faint hopes of a play-off push as they take on Preston North End on Monday afternoon. QPR have been on a bit of a tear recently, winning all of their last three games, including a 6-1 win over Portsmouth. QPR are also unbeaten in the last five head-to-head meetings between themselves and Preston, winning four of them.

Preston, however, are once again suffering a late season slump, winning only one of their last nine games, also losing two of their last three at home.

Tip: QPR To Win

Sheffield Wednesday vs Leicester City

Leicester City are going in search of a sorely-needed three points this weekend as they take on Sheffield Wednesday. Leicester's form hasn't been strong, but they're facing one of the worst sides the Championship has ever seen, who lose nearly every week. The Foxes showed good character to draw at home to Preston at the weekend, so they'll come into this one in good spirits.

Sheffield Wednesday haven't won a single game since September and have lost 17 of their last 18 games. The Owls sit bottom of the league on -6 points and are already well relegated. BTTS has occurred in three of both teams' last five games and also occurred in the reverse fixture between the two sides, which ended 2-1 to Leicester.

Tip: Leicester To Win & BTTS
