Bayern Munich are a contender at 7/1, and in light of Jamal Musiala's injury, Eze is a target that makes complete sense. However, the finances would make it a complex deal for Bayern, who have spent most of the summer trying to close a deal for Stuttgart forward Nick Woltemade. The Bavarians have already spent €70m on Luis Diaz from Liverpool, and while Eze would fit well in their squad, the fee would likely be prohibitive.
At 15/2, Liverpool don't feel like particularly good value. We know the Reds are involved in a standoff with Newcastle for the transfer of Alexander Isak, and while there's a long way to go, it's far more likely that the Reds get that deal done than pivot their attention to a very different player in Eze.
At 16/1, Newcastle are a more compelling value pick. The Magpies could have a monumental cash injection on the way in the event Isak leaves for Liverpool, and while they'll probably want to sign another forward, Eze is a player profile that's sorely lacking in this Newcastle team.
Manchester City are out at 28/1, and while they've been linked heavily with Eze in the past, the Cityzens have already spent a lot of money in this transfer window. City have spent over £150m this summer, some of which was spent on Rayan Cherki, who plays a very similar role to Eze. You can never rule City out in the transfer market, but if they're to spend big on another player this summer, it seems like right-back Tino Livramento is their main target.
