Atalanta currently sit sixth in the Serie A after 32 games. The Goddess have 16 wins, six draws and ten losses, leaving them on 54 points, one point from the Europa League spot and five points from the Champions League.

The Goddess have only won the Coppa Italia once in their history. This win came all the way back in 1963 with a 3 - 1 win over Torino in the Final. Since that triumph, Atalanta have made the Final on four occasions. The most recent Final appearance was in 2021, where Atalanta lost 2 - 1 to Juventus.

Fiorentina currently sit ninth in the Serie A. In 32 games, Fiorentina have 13 wins, eight draws and 11 losses which leaves them on 47 points, eight points from European football.

La Viola, on the other hand, have lifted the trophy six times in their histories. The first title came back in 1940 with a 1 - 0 win over Genoa and the most recent came in 2001 with a 2 - 1 aggregate win over Parma. Fiorentina have made five other Final appearances, the most recent being in 2023, where they lost 2 -1 to Inter Milan.

Atalanta and Fiorentina have met 47 times in their histories. Fiorentina have the better record in the fixture with 21 wins in comparison to Atalanta’s ten wins. In fact, a draw is more common in this fixture with 16 draws so far.

The last five games in this fixture have seen three wins for Fiorentina, one win for Atalanta and one draw. Two of the last four meetings have seen both sides on the scoresheet, with these games having at least two goals.

        Recent Form

In their last five games in all competitions, Atalanta have two wins, one draw and two losses.

The trip to Cagliari saw Atalanta open the scoring, with Gianluca Scamacca finding the back of the net in the 13th minute. However, Tommaso Augello equalised just before halftime and with just two minutes left, Nicolas Viola scored to give Cagliari the 2 - 1 win.

In the first leg of the Europa League Quarter Finals, Atalanta took on Liverpool at Anfield. Scamacca gave Atalanta the lead again, this time just before halftime, and he doubled the lead himself on the hour mark. Mario Pasalic added another late in the game to give Atalanta the 3 - 0 win over Liverpool.

Back in the Serie A, Atalanta hosted Verona. Scamacca scored yet again for Atalanta and was joined on the scoresheet by Ederson before the 20 minute mark. However, in a four minute period of the second half, Darko Lazovic and Tijjani Noslin both scored to rescue a 2 - 2 draw for Verona.

The second leg of the Europa League Quarter Finals saw Atalanta host Liverpool. Mo Salah converted his penalty in the seventh minute but despite Liverpool having 70% of the possession and five shots on target, Atalanta kept them out, losing 1 - 0 but progressing to the Semi Finals.

The last time out for Atalanta was against Monza. Charles De Ketelaere gave Atalanta the 1 - 0 lead at halftime and El Bilal Toure doubled the lead in the second half. Daniel Maldini did score late on but Atalanta held on for the 2 - 1 win.

In their last five games in all competitions, Fiorentina have two wins, two draws and one loss.

Despite having 75% of the possession, Fiorentina could only manage two shots on target, none of which they could convert. Federico Gatti scored in the 21st minute and Juventus were able to hold on to that lead for a 1 - 0 win.

The first leg of the Europa Conference League Quarter Finals saw Fiorentina in the Czech Republic to take on Viktoria Plzen. Once again La Viola had a lot of the possession, 73% of it, but only two shots on target as they played out a 0 - 0 draw.

Back in the Serie A, Fiorentina hosted Genoa. A penalty from Albert Guomundsson gave Genoa the lead just before the halftime whistle, but early in the second half, Jonathan Ikone equalised for Fiorentina. However, Fiorentina couldn’t convert any of their other 19 shots and had to settle for the 1 - 1 draw.

In the second leg of the Europa Conference League Quarter Finals, Fiorentina hosted Viktoria Plzen. After the 0 - 0 draw in the first leg, Fiorentina needed a win. Despite the red card to Plzen’s Cadu just after the hour, neither team could score. However, in extra time both Nicolas Gonzalez and Cristiano Biraghi scored to give Fiorentina the 2 - 0 win.

The most recent outing for Fiorentina was against Salernitana. After a goalless 80 minutes, Christian Kouame and Ikone both scored late on to give Fiorentina the 2 - 0 win.

        Footy Accumulators Prediction

The two sides have been closely matched this season, making this tie likely to be close. Despite Fiorentina having the lead, Atalanta are likely to squeak by. Atalanta 3 - 1 Fiorentina
