Serie A Outright Winners Odds

Jordan

Inter Milan Odds: 15/8

After missing out by a fine margin last season, Inter are the early favourites to win back the Scudetto from their rivals and reclaim the title they won last year.

The Nerazzurri finished just two points behind their city rivals last season, as Simone Inzaghi’s men fell just short. With the star power that Inter have, they will surely be in the race again next season and will be eager to get their hands back on the Scudetto. Lautaro Martinez, Nicolo Barella, and Alessandro Bastoni continue to be the strong spine of the team and with rumours of a Romelu Lukaku return, Inter could be too strong to handle.

Juventus Odds: 2/1

Following a fall from grace that has seen their domination of the Serie A fall apart, could the Old Lady finally be back on track and get their Scudetto back next season?

Juve’s nine-year haul of consecutive Scudetto wins came to an end two seasons ago, with the Turin giants falling from dominant league leaders to having to battle for a top-four place. It wasn’t too much of a fight last season, with Juve finishing in fourth spot comfortably – but they were nine points away from third-placed Napoli and a whopping 16 points off AC Milan.

However, a new season brings a fresh start, with Massimiliano Allegri looking to get his team fighting for a title again. He’ll be hoping his key players like Dusan Vlahovic and Federico Chiesa can help fire Juve to glory as well as any incomings. Paul Pogba could well be one of those coming in, after his departure from Manchester United was confirmed, with reports of an imminent return to Turin.

AC Milan Odds: 15/2

Despite winning their first league title since 2010, AC Milan are still quite a high price to retain their Serie A crown next season.

Retaining a title is always a much harder task, but the Rossoneri will be hoping they can build on their success and become even stronger. Milan were far from one of the favourites last season, but surprised many with their successful, attacking football.

The signings Stefano Piolo and his side made helped immensely, with the likes of Mike Maignan, Sandro Tonali, Olivier Giroud, and Fikayo Tomori all making a big impact and playing a key role in helping Milan clinch that historic Scudetto.

Pioli is set to continue to develop his side with many reports of signings that would strengthen his team, even with a key player confirmed to be leaving in Franck Kessie.

Napoli Odds: 12/1

Napoli emerged as potential challengers last season and spent a lot of time around the top of the league near the start of the campaign, before falling off and ending up seven points adrift of the eventual champions.

Part of the reason for that title challenge’s demise was because of the injuries to their influential players. Victor Osimhen’s goals were vital for the Naples outfit and were missed when the striker wasn’t available. Despite missing a big chunk of the season through injury, the 23-year-old still notched up 14 goals, showing his importance to the side.

Kalidou Koulibaly is another dominant figure, whose presence was missed when he didn’t feature at centre back because of injury or unavailability. Any chance Napoli has of success will depend on if they can keep their best players, with many of the European giants said to be interested in Osimhen and Koulibaly, as well as keeping their stars fit.

AS Roma Odds: 20/1

Jose Mourinho has already made history with Roma after guiding them to a first major European honour in the form of the UEFA Conference League last season. It’s a long shot, but you wouldn’t put it past the former Chelsea and Inter boss to guide his team to the title in true Mourinho style.

Jose has got the best out of players, especially English players discarded in Italy, with Chris Smalling and Tammy Abraham. The latter has been reborn since his arrival in Rome last summer. Abraham settled in Italy superbly, with 17 Serie A goals in his first season. With some talented players in their ranks, such as Lorenzo Pellegrini, Nicolo Zaniolo, and Roger Ibanez, as well as any possible incomings that Mourinho can lure, Roma could be a dark horse.

Outsiders

It was a disappointing season for Atalanta, who finished eighth last season after years of establishing themselves as a top-five outfit. Gian Piero Gasperini’s future as manager is in doubt, meaning next season could see a new era in Bergamo.

La Dea still have some quality players, like Duvan Zapata and Luis Muriel. With no European football next season and new signings likely, who knows what could happen. They are 25/1.

Lazio are 50/1 after a fifth-place finish last season. Ciro Immobile continues to be the spearhead that fires the Eagles forward, picking up another Serie A golden boot award after 27 league goals across the last year.

Fiorentina performed better than expected last season to push the other teams and finish in a UECL spot, two points off the top five. Vincenzo Italiano’s side have an 80/1 price.

Sassuolo have plenty of young talents, most notably Giacomo Raspadori and Gianluca Scamacca, that have enjoyed breakout seasons. The Neroverdi are a longshot 500/1 to shock the world.
