Smart Acca Picks: Ligue 1 Leads the way in Terms of Value

On Saturday, league champions PSG hosts Metz at the Parc des Princes in what could be Mauricio Pochetinno’s final game as manager of the Parisiens.

France’s in-form team AS Monaco travels to Lens looking to wrap up second in the table.

Monaco beat Lens away from home back in January by a thumping 4-2 scoreline in the Coupe de France and will be hoping to do the same again here.

Lens enters this game in good form, having beaten Montpellier 2-0, before going to draw 1-1 and 2-2 with PSG and Nantes. After the aforementioned fixtures, they also beat Reims 2-1 and Troyes 3-1.

Monaco have won all of their last five, earning a crucial win over Nice 1-0, before hammering Saint-Etienne 4-1, as well as defeating Angers 2-0, Lille 2-1 and Brest 4-2.

Lazio takes on Hellas Verona in Serie A with Maurizio Sarri’s men looking to confirm their fifth-place status against ninth in the table.

Sarri’s men drew 2-2 with Juventus last time out after beating both Sampdoria 2-0 and Spezia 4-3 in their two outings prior to their match in Turin. Prior to this sequence of fixtures, they had been beaten 2-1 by AC Milan and drew 1-1 with Torino.

Hellas have lost their last two matches, following 1-0 and 3-1 losses to Torino and AC Milan, but, prior to this had beaten both Cagliari and Atalanta by 2-1 scorelines on either side of a 1-1 draw at home with Sampdoria.

The final tip on this list also comes from Ligue 1, as Olympique Marseille goes up against Strasbourg in a battle of third against fifth in Ligue 1 with it all to play for in regards to European qualification places.

Marseille will be looking to refind their form in this clutch encounter, as their 2-0 loss to Rennes means that they have won just one of their last five matches, having beaten Lorient 3-0 away from home just one match prior to their latest defeat. Before this, they had lost 3-2 on aggregate to Feyenoord in the Europa Conference League semi-finals, as well as 3-0 at home to Lyon.

Strasbourg will be looking to avenge their 2-0 loss to Marseille earlier on in the season and are in decent form heading into this game since their 1-0 loss to Lille in late April, having beaten Rennes 2-1 before it, on top of drawing 2-2 with PSG and beating both Brest and Clermont by 1-0 scorelines in their last three outings.
