Cheltenham vs Manchester City - Over 4.5 Goals: 7/4

After prevailing in the previous round against Birmingham City, last season’s semi-finalists Manchester City travel to Cheltenham Town on Saturday evening.

The home side scraped through against Mansfield in the third round after a late equaliser forced the game into extra time, before William Boyle’s 110th-minute strike saw the Robins set up a huge encounter with Pep Guardiola’s side.

As for City, they find themselves in a purple patch, with their most recent 2-0 victory over Aston Villa in the Premier League stretching their winning run to eight games, which spells danger for a Cheltenham side who have failed to win for six games now in League Two.

For that reason, we expect City to breeze into the fifth round in style, with an opportunity for some of his cohort to bring their tallies up for the season. Therefore, our tip is for the match to yield over 4.5 goals at 7/4.

Chelsea vs Luton Town - Timo Werner to Score and Chelsea to Win 1/1

Chelsea play host to Championship side Luton Town in the fourth round, with a decent opportunity to keep boosting morale after the pressure continues to mount around Stamford Bridge.

Luton currently sit 12th in the league, but they recorded a narrow 1-0 victory over promotion hopefuls Reading in the last round, and the Hatters will certainly fancy their chances of causing a bigger upset this weekend.

Meanwhile, Chelsea’s win over Morecambe in the previous round was an opportunity for the likes of Kai Havertz and Timo Werner to find their creative and goalscoring touches again after a difficult start to life in London. The pair both got on the scoresheet last week, and we have tipped Werner to repeat that feat here and his side to win the game at 1/1.

Bournemouth vs Crawley - Bournemouth to Win Both Halves: 15/8

Bournemouth take on last round’s giant-killers Crawley on Saturday afternoon, and the Cherries will be looking for a similar result to the one we saw from them in the third round.

Jason Tindall’s side have slipped eight points off leaders Norwich City in the Championship after a mixed bag of results recently, but their 4-1 victory over Oldham Athletic in the last round of the FA Cup will certainly be at the forefront of their minds going into this weekend’s fixture.

However, League Two Crawley caused the standout upset from the third round, running out eventual 3-0 victory against Leeds United. The Red Devils look strangely comfortable with the calibre of the opposition, and can certainly cause Bournemouth problems here.

Despite this, we do expect Bournemouth to get the win here, and we’ve tipped their quality to shine through by winning both halves at 15/8.

Swansea vs Nottingham Forest: Swansea to Win 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1: 21/10

This all-Championship tie pits high-flyers Swansea against relegation-threatened Nottingham Forest, but with a hint of unpredictability that comes with the FA Cup.

The latter have endured a torrid season so far, but their recent form shows some promising signs of improvement and the Reds have now gone seven games unbeaten in all competitions. Nyle Taylor’s third-minute goal was enough to see them past Cardiff in the last round, but another Welsh outfit now stands in between them and the fifth round.

Swansea are unbeaten in their last six games and look a serious contender in the race for the Championship title, or at least a play-off place come the end of the season. Their 2-0 victory over Stevenage in the third round was sluggish at times, but their undoubted quality prevailed to set up this weekend’s tie.

We do expect Swansea to have too much quality for the visitors on this occasion, with the Swans already claiming a 1-0 victory over them back in November. As a result, we’ve tipped them to get the victory here by either a 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 scoreline at 21/10.

Manchester United vs Liverpool - Both Teams to Score and a Draw: 3/1

Undoubtedly the biggest tie of the round sees Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool pitted against Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United for the second time in a week.

In what could have been a pivotal moment in the race for the Premier League title last weekend, turned out to be a goalless draw, but it certainly highlighted the shrinking gulf in class between last season’s champions and their rivals.

And so, the fourth round sees these two go head to head once again, and with the likelihood that both managers may rotate their squads, we are expecting goals this time around. That is why we have tipped both teams to score and the match to end in a draw at 3/1, with extra time and/or penalties to decide the winner.
