Fantasy Football: Three Transfers to make for Gameweek Nine

With the international break now been and gone, the Premier League returns this weekend which means one thing - the return of Fantasy Football. As such, we’ve picked the three players to make sure you have in your team for Gameweek Nine.

Team: Arsenal

Price: £9.6m

Next Match: Leicester City (H)

There are five strikers in the Premier League that are more expensive than Alexandre Lacazette in Fantasy Football, but there are few in better form than the Frenchman at this moment in time. Having missed out on the France squad once again, Lacazette will be feeling refreshed after being given two weeks off of competitive action and keen to make a similar impact as he did in the victory over Fulham, during which he scored twice. The 27-year-old has five goals and three assists in his last seven appearances and looks a solid bet to contribute on Monday night.

Team: Bournemouth

Price: £6.4m

Next Match: Southampton (H)

In Fantasy Football, only Sergio Aguero has more points in the forward position than Callum Wilson, who is just three points shy of the Manchester City man. Wilson has scored two and also has two assists in his last three appearances in all competitions and faces a Southampton defence this weekend that looks drained of any kind of confidence. In total, he has three goals and four assists this campaign, showing his unselfishness in front goal whilst also being extremely productive.

Price: £7.4m

Next Match: Crystal Palace (H)

Everton’s Gylfi Sigurdsson has been in fine form in recent weeks, signing off for the international break with three goals in his last two appearances. The last was particularly special, as he curled in an outstanding effort from the edge of the area to seal a 2-1 win for the Toffees over Leicester City. In total, Sigurdsson has netted four goals in his last four Premier League outings and will be looking to add to that total this weekend at Goodison Park.
