Fantasy Premier League Tips

Fantasy Football is back with a full midweek schedule of games in the Premier League on Tuesday and Wednesday night. Now into the final third of the season, there are vital games both at the top and bottom of the Premier League this midweek, the standout fixture being Chelsea’s visit from Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night. Check out our three tips of transfers to make ahead of gameweek 28 in Fantasy Football below.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek

Team: Chelsea

Value: £5.2m

Next Opponent: Tottenham (H)

Ruben Loftus-Cheek broke the Ross Barkley-Mateo Kovacic substitution pattern in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday and impressed in his cameo appearance off the bench. The England international has been frustrated by a lack of first team opportunities this season, but potentially showed enough in his appearance at the weekend to warrant a starting place on Wednesday night, potentially replacing fatigued team mates. At £5.2m, Loftus-Cheek is a snip for the quality he has and could be a cheap addition to your team this week.

Alexandre Lacazette

Team: Arsenal

Value: £9.5m

Next Opponent: Bournemouth (H)

Alexandre Lacazette’s goalscoring exploits have gone under the radar to a certain extent in recent weeks. The French forward has netted four goals in his last five appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal, with Manchester City being the only team to shut him out so far in that run. The 27-year-old has 11 goals in 19 starts in the Premier League this season, as well as adding five assists to his attacking return. Arsenal face Bournemouth on Wednesday night, who have lost nine straight games away from home and have conceded 24 goals during that time.

Paul Pogba

Value: £8.9m

Team: Manchester United

Next Opponent: Crystal Palace (A)

Given the injury problems currently in the Manchester United squad, there will be even greater responsibility on the shoulders of Paul Pogba to produce moments of quality when they play away to Crystal Palace on Wednesday night. With Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard all set to miss out, Pogba - who has 11 goals and eight assists in the Premier League this season - will be the main man for them. United have won all seven of their away games under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and has three goals and two assists in his last three away appearances.
