ITV Racing Tips – Saturday 21st February 2026 Best Bets for Kempton, Lingfield, Newcastle & Fairyhouse

A bumper day of ITV Racing coverage is set for Saturday, featuring three graded contests from Kempton, as well as key races from Lingfield, Newcastle, and Fairyhouse.

We have gone through the races televised on Saturday and have picked out our ITV horse racing tips. You can find our selections, an ITV Racing Accumulator, and the best bookmaker offers here.

13:10 - Kempton - Fasol

ITV’s bumper day of racing on Saturday kicks off with a handicap hurdle over two miles and five. Fasol can be forgiven for a poor run last time, fading quickly on ground that was likely too lively.

The seven-year-old was visually very impressive when winning over two miles and four at Musselburgh on New Year’s Day, and Olive Nicholls is a big plus, taking an important 5lb off. Still unexposed over this trip, and the Paul Nicholls yard is among the winners.

13:25 - Lingfield - Valiant Force

The first of two races from Lingfield on Saturday is the Listed Hever Sprint Stakes over five furlongs.

The previous winner of the Group Two Norfolk Stakes is of particular interest for trainer Robson De Aguilar. The five-year-old has shown ability on the all-weather, winning five from 12.

Last time out, he returned from a break with a dominant win over the talented Kerdos at Dundalk. Plenty to like on these terms.

13:45 - Kempton - Precious Man

A competitive renewal of the Grade Two Adonis Juvenile Hurdle is due off at 13:45.

Precious Man was disappointing when beaten by One Horse Town at Cheltenham on stable debut, but quickly avenged that loss when beating King Al by four lengths over course and distance on his first start following wind surgery.

Connections appear to have solved the issue that hindered him on his British debut, and he could reverse the form with his Cheltenham conqueror on Saturday.

14:00 - Lingfield - Nebras

The Group Three Winter Derby Stakes is the feature from Lingfield on Saturday. Ryan Moore is booked aboard Nebras for John & Thady Gosden.

The four-year-old was a battling winner on his latest start over course and distance, beating Tyrrhenian Sea by a short head. Has won on both starts over this distance on the all-weather, and could yet excel over further. Still progressing for well-respected connections.

14:25 - Kempton - Jax Junior

Jax Junior looks hard to oppose in the Grade Two Pendil Novices’ Chase on Saturday.

The Lucy Wadham yard is striking at 38% over the last two weeks, and this seven-year-old comes out on top based on RPRs. The selection jumped efficiently over an extended mile and seven last time, beating Classic Maestro by a widening four-length margin.

Steps back up in distance, while his jumping ability at Kempton, evident when beating Jeriko Du Reponet by 12 lengths in November, ensures that he’s the one to beat.

14:43 - Newcastle - Livin On Luco

Livin On Luco thrives over marathon trips, making him the standout for the Eider Handicap Chase on Saturday.

The eight-year-old has rapidly improved for Philip Hobbs & Johnson White, landing the Southern National in November.

Retained that form when producing a near-career best effort to finish fourth of 17 in the Welsh Grand National in December. Remains on an eye-catching mark, and is unlikely to be far away.

15:00 - Kempton - Double Measure

The Grade Two Dovecote Novices’ Hurdle is next up from Kempton. Double Measure still holds an entry for the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival, and he couldn’t have been more impressive when easily putting eleven lengths between himself and Loustic Du Chatel last time.

Softer ground seemed to suit the five-year-old, while the strength of his narrow second behind The Blue Room still looks like solid form.

15:15 - Fairyhouse - Intense Raffles

The winner of the Grand National has landed the spoils in the Grade Three Bobbjo Chase in each of the last two years, making it a key prep before the Aintree showpiece once again.

At the prices and given that the ground at Fairhouse could be testing, Intense Raffles looks interesting. The eight-year-old has lost his way since landing the Irish Grand National in April 2024, racking up a quickfire hat-trick at Fairyhouse.

He’s only raced on heavy once since then. Form would be a concern, but at an each-way price, he could stage a revival at his preferred track after finishing second in the Bobbyjo last year.

15:35 - Kempton - Leader In The Park

A competitive handicap chase over three miles rounds off the ITV coverage on Saturday.

Hoe Joly Smoke and Deep Cave are interesting, but both could have sights set on Cheltenham targets. Therefore, Leader In The Park could be an each-way angle. The eight-year-old is unexposed over three miles but was a point-to-point winner.

Ben Pauling’s runner ran a strong race when second behind Booster Bob at Newbury over two miles and six in November, before being unsuited by the drop back in trip when beaten 24 lengths by Lookaway last time. Still looks to have plenty of ability over fences, and this step up to three miles is well worth exploring.
