13:20 - Doncaster - Dance A Jig

The flat is back on ITV this weekend, beginning with the Brocklesby Stakes over five furlongs. Every runner in the field will be making their rules debut, but Ralph Beckett’s strong record with two-year-olds could give the Naval Crown colt, Dance A Jig, a chance.

Naval Crown was a winner over six furlongs at Royal Ascot, and his pedigree suggests that he should handle some cut in the ground. Stamina could be Dance A Jig’s biggest asset in this company.

13:50 - Doncaster - Aramram

Next up is the Cammidge Trophy Stakes over six furlongs. High draws typically excel at Doncaster, and Aramram could be primed for a big run.

The five-year-old for Richard Hannon goes well fresh, finishing a close second on return at Kempton last March. Excelled on softer ground at the end of last season when winning a competitive ten-runner handicap at Ascot by a nose, and Sean Levey is back aboard the selection, who has previous course and distance winning form.

14:08 - Kempton - Anniversary

ITV also covers action from Kempton on Saturday, beginning with the Queen’s Prize Handicap, run over two miles. Ralph Beckett-trained Anniversary could be the logical play, with a fitness edge on much of the field.

The four-year-old ran a credible race when fifth of eight behind Enemy on his comeback run at Lingfield last month. Promises to come on for that run, and shaped as though two miles would suit at the end of last season when fifth at Doncaster.

14:25 - Doncaster - High On Hope

A competitive 22-runner handicap over a mile is up next at Doncaster. High On Hope could be an interesting each-way contender for the Michael Appleby yard.

The four-year-old will have a fitness edge over this field after being kept busy on the all-weather this winter, mostly recently finishing fourth over an extended mile and one at Wolverhampton. Is a two-time winner over a mile this year, and has placed in nine of 14 efforts on the turf. Could out-run his odds.

14:42 - Kempton - Triple Double A

A field of 13 runners will compete in the Rosebery Handicap, but Triple Double A could be an interesting each-way play. The Hugo Palmer runner returned to action with a stylish win over a mile and two at Newcastle last month, beating Knockbrex by just under two lengths.

The four-year-old has won four from eleven starts under rules, but that was a striking impression on his first attempt over the trip. Even more improvement could be likely now stepped up further.

14:57 - Doncaster - Docklands

The Listed Doncaster Mile Stakes is due off at 14:57 on Saturday, and Docklands should prove to be the class in the field.

The Harry Eustace-trained runner was the winner of last season’s Group One Queen Anne Stakes, and lost little in defeat at the highest level in the second half of the year when fourth in the Group One Queen Elizabeth II Stakes and fourth in the Group One Hong Kong Mile.

Solid performer with a healthy advantage over this company based on ratings if at his best.

15:13 - Kempton - Survie

Survie could be hard to oppose in the Listed Snowdrop Fillies’ Stakes. The five-year-old for George Boughey will have Billy Loughnane aboard this weekend.

The mare is a perfect three-from-three on the all-weather, including a win over a mile and two at Lingfield on stable debut at the end of January when beating Military Academy.

Ran an excellent race in defeat last time when third in the Group One Neom Turf Cup. Drop back to a mile will suit, and is clearly an exciting prospect since moving from France.

15:32 - Doncaster - Eternal Force

The big betting race of the day comes in the form of the Lincoln Handicap. Horses aged four or five have excelled in the race, while nine of the last eleven winners have carried between 8st 12lb and 9st 4lb.

Eternal Force ticks plenty of the right boxes for a William Haggas yard that has won this competitive race on five occasions. The progressive four-year-old racked up a hat-trick at the end of last season after being gelded, including a dominant win by three lengths at Haydock in October. Cieren Fallon is a solid booking.
