ITV Racing Tips – Thursday 30th July 2026 Best Bets for Glorious Goodwood

Day Three of Glorious Goodwood gets underway on ITV at 13:30 on Thursday. The feature comes in the form of the Group One Nassau Stakes, which sees Diamond Necklace defend her unbeaten record against her elders.

We have gone through all televised races from Glorious Goodwood on Thursday, picking out ITV horse racing tips, and an accumulator for ITV racing.

13:50 - Goodwood - Dark Whisper

The third day of Glorious Goodwood kicks off with a handicap over a mile and two furlongs. David Menuisier has a reliable strike-rate in Class 1 and 2 handicaps at the meeting, meaning Dark Whisper is an interesting angle.

The three-year-old has been competitive on all three starts under rules, and he finally got his head in front last time out when travelling smoothly throughout the mile-long trip at Ffos Las before holding off Leon d’Aislingean by just under a length.

Jamie Spencer takes over aboard this week, and he is well-handicapped for connections that should be respected.

14:25 - Goodwood - Night In Vegas

Next up is the Group Two Richmond Stakes. Night In Vegas ran a stormer when racing on the wrong side of the track to finish fifth in a messy renewal of the Group Two Coventry Stakes, battling on to finish within two lengths of Great Barrier Reef despite being bumped at a crucial time.

The Eve Johnson Houghton runner has little to find on official ratings, and Night In Vegas’ chances are only enhanced after an impressive win over course and distance in late May. Goes on all ground, and yard in reliable form.

15:00 - Goodwood - Enceladus

Horses aged three will be in action in the Group Three Gordon Stakes, run over a mile and four furlongs.

Favourites have a weak record in this race, winning just three of the last 12 editions. Therefore, Joseph O’Brien-trained Enceladus could be the improving contender worth following.

The Sea The Stars colt has won twice from four starts, including a win in the King George V Stakes at Royal Ascot when staying on strongly on his first attempt over a mile and four. He looks like a potential improver over this trip.

15:35 - Goodwood - Diamond Necklace

The feature on day three is the Group One Nassau Stakes, run by fillies and mares over a distance of a mile and two.

Diamond Necklace takes on her elders for the first time at Goodwood this week, and the Aidan O’Brien horse looks like the outstanding horse in this field. Three-year-olds have won each of the last two editions, with O’Brien saddling both.

She should continue to progress over this trip after winning the G1 Prix de Diane last time. Versatile on all ground, and defends a perfect record under rules. Gets weight from her elders. Hard to overlook.

16:10 - Goodwood - Kolkata Knight

A competitive handicap over five furlongs rounds off the ITV coverage on day three of Glorious Goodwood. At a price, Kolkata Knight could be worth chancing in a first-time visor.

The Tom Dascombe-trained runner is drawn in an ideal spot, and he has already threatened to be competitive over five furlongs this season, including when fourth of eight at Newmarket at the start of July.

He is back down to a workable mark this week, and a stiffer five furlongs should suit his chances after previous wins over six furlongs and showing competitiveness in the Group Two Coventry Stakes as a juvenile.
