Brazil and Colombia will both come into this game looking for the win that’ll let them top Group D. Both sides are likely to go far in the competition and will be aiming to make a statement in their final game of the Group stage.

Vinicius Jr has already picked up a couple of goals for Brazil so far this tournament, and he’s likely to be on the scoresheet again against Colombia. However, Colombia and their front line of Luis Diaz and Jhon Cordoba are not to be counted out to trouble the Brazil backline.

This clash of the titans of Group D is likely to be tight, but with Brazil coming out victorious by a close margin.

The other Group D residents Costa Rica and Paraguay haven’t put up too much of a fight against Brazil and Colombia, giving these two sides a clear route to the Quarter-finals.

Brazil and Colombia have met 36 times in their histories, with the first meeting coming in the 1945 rendition of this competition. Brazil have the better record in the fixture with 21 wins in comparison to Colombia’s four wins. In fact, a draw is a more common outcome than a Colombia win, happening on 11 occasions.

The last five meetings between these two sides have seen two wins for Brazil, two draws and one win for Colombia. This fixture usually sees both sides on the scoresheet, with three of the last five games having both teams scoring.

The final friendly before the Copa America saw Brazil take on the US. Rodrygo was on the scoresheet for Brazil again but a goal from Christian Pulisic forced the 1 - 1 draw, despite Brazil having 12 shots on target.
