The progressive Almeric could be hard to oppose in the Listed Doonside Cup Stakes on Saturday.

Into The Sky could be a standout selection in the Group Two Mill Reef Stakes. The two-year-old for Jim Boyle made a statement on his debut success, beating Dark Shore impressively by a seven-length margin.
Despite being an 80/1 outsider on that day, there was no fluke about the success. His RPR and promise of further progression ensure that he should be capable of backing up that debut win.
The big betting race of the day comes in the form of the Ayr Gold Cup. As expected, plenty have chances, but Aramran could be an interesting selection for the Richard Hannon yard.
