The Group Two Celebration Mile Stakes is the feature at Goodwood on Sunday, and Jonquil looks like a standout chance on his return to a mile for the first time since finishing second in the French 2000 Guineas.
Could be forgiven for his latest effort when finishing fifth in a messy renewal of the Group Two Lennox Stakes. Prior to that, he looked of a high-quality, which included a win in the Group Three Greenham Stakes at Newbury.
