Sunday ITV Racing Tips - 26th October 2025

13:30 - Fontwell - Art Decco

ITV's coverage on Sunday kicks off with a competitive handicap chase over three miles and two.

Previous course and distance winner Art Decco could be primed for a strong run on his seasonal return.

The Robert Walford runner has been off the track since winning over an extended three miles and six at Exeter in February.

First-time out is typically the time to catch the selection, and his stamina could prove the difference over this field.

13:50 - Aintree - Le Milos

The Vieux Lion Rouge Veterans' Handicap Chase kicks off the ITV coverage on Sunday.

Le Milos was a straightforward winner on his latest start, easing clear of the field over three miles to win by five lengths at Fakenham.

The Dan Skelton yard has been in excellent form at the two-day Cheltenham meet this weekend, and Le Milos could be too classy for this field on his return to Aintree after finishing seventh in a competitive Handicap Chase at the Grand National Festival.

14:00 - Galway - Smallcraftwarning

ITV also covers racing from Galway on Sunday.

Smallcraftwarning could be an interesting selection in the 14:00 for trainer John Patrick Ryan.

The eight-year-old has been kept busy throughout the summer, including when second over two miles and seven at Punchestown on Oct 15.

He travelled strongly throughout that race, and he should be primed for another strong challenge off a lenient mark.

14:05 - Fontwell - Heltenham

Harry Skelton will be aboard Heltenham in the 14:05 at Fontwell on Sunday.

The Dan Skelton runner has a recent run under his belt, but he was never competitive when eighth of nine at Worcester.

Likely needed that return effort to get back to speed, and he typically excels over this weekend's trip. Holds the advantage on ratings, and could make his presence felt from top weight on Sunday.

14:20 - Aintree - Marsiac

An intriguing maiden hurdle over two miles and four is due off at 14:20.

Marsiac could be a leading chance for the training combination of Kim Bailey & Mat Nicholls.

The four-year-old looked green on his first start under rules at Uttoxeter in October, but stayed on well to take fourth.

Up in trip this weekend, he could be primed to make his presence felt with that recent experience under his belt.

14:35 - Galway - Buddy One

A competitive handicap chase over two miles and six is set for Galway on Sunday.

Buddy One could be worth chancing for the Paul John Gilligan yard. The eight-year-old was an eye-catching runner over hurdles, and he showed plenty of promise over fences in the Galway Plate in July when finishing sixth of 22.

A run on the flat in September should set him up perfectly for this weekend's race, and he holds each-way claims at the very least.

14:55 - Aintree - Imperial Saint

The feature from Aintree on Sunday comes in the form of the Grade Two Old Roan Limited Chase.

Imperial Saint represents the in-form Philip Hobbs & Johnson White yard. The seven-year-old has a reliable record over fences, winning three of his seven starts, and he typically goes well at Aintree.

Was an excellent second in a competitive handicap at the track at the start of April, and he already has winning course and distance form in the book.

15:30 - Aintree - Serious Operator

ITV's final race on Sunday is a handicap hurdle over two miles and four.

Serious Operator should hold leading claims for the Lucinda Russell & Michael Scudamore yard.

The eight-year-old has won five from 14 starts over hurdles, and has the recent experience of a run under his belt after finishing fourth over two miles and five at Kelso.

Remains on a workable mark, and Sunday could be his day to fire.
